What To Expect
Where the whitewater and scenery collide to make an ultimate rafting experience just outside Denali, Alaska. Enjoy 11 miles of rapids on the Nenana River. This trip is more adventurous, but yet for everyone to enjoy. With the option to join the team as a paddle rafter or play it cool & be an Oar Boat Rider. For ages 12+ years old and above. Now, let's go run the waves of razorback, royal flush and coffee grinder! Prepare for Your Trip. - Warm layers - A thin glove layered by a pair of dish gloves - Warm socks could be a wool pair of socks or an extra thick pair of winter socks Please contact New Wave Adventures prior to your trip to ensure: - Pickup time - Important trip updates - Access to your waivers High-water / Wind Policy (Canyon Wave Only) If New Wave cancels a Canyon Wave trip due to high water, wind or other safety reasons you will automatically be rebooked to the Wilderness Wave at the same time slot. If you have booked through a third party call us before your trip, for access to waivers, confirm pick up, and get any important trip updates.

Warm Non-cotton base layers- polyester/wool, long johns, to wear underneath drysuit, extra socks

5.00My best friend and I went together and had a great time. It is a few hours of fun and the staff was really nice, they all seem to LOVE their jobs. The experience lasts a few hours and the rapids weren’t as crazy as I expected them to be. This was so much fun and we would definitely do it again.

5.00Man, there’s almost no words to describe this trip! The water was high and the vibes were even higher! Pat did an amazing job of putting us in the rapids and giving us an experience that was better than we could have ever imagined! Very thankful that everything aligned for perfect rafting conditions and I would recommend this trip to anyone!! Pat recommended Prospectors for pizza and a glass of Golden Dall after and it was the perfect refuel!

4.00We had fun on the rafting trip and our guide had a sense of humor. The only thing that would have been nice to know was where to meet up. The day before, we did the 5 hour hiking tour and so we met our guide at the visitor center parking lot. So we called up the rafting place and asked if we could meet them there also. The place said ok. But they never told us to meet them at the bus stop near the visitor center. So we were late.
