What To Expect
Where the whitewater and scenery collide to make an ultimate rafting experience just outside Denali, Alaska. Enjoy 11 miles of rapids on the Nenana River. This trip is more adventurous, but yet for everyone to enjoy. With the option to join the team as a paddle rafter or play it cool & be an Oar Boat Rider. For ages 12+ years old and above. Now, let's go run the waves of razorback, royal flush and coffee grinder! Prepare for Your Trip. - Warm layers - A thin glove layered by a pair of dish gloves - Warm socks could be a wool pair of socks or an extra thick pair of winter socks Please contact New Wave Adventures prior to your trip to ensure: - Pickup time - Important trip updates - Access to your waivers High-water / Wind Policy (Canyon Wave Only) If New Wave cancels a Canyon Wave trip due to high water, wind or other safety reasons you will automatically be rebooked to the Wilderness Wave at the same time slot. If you have booked through a third party call us before your trip, for access to waivers, confirm pick up, and get any important trip updates.

5.00We originally were supposed to do the Canyon Wave but the river was running high so we ended up doing the Wilderness rafting excursion. It was a very pleasant experience for all 5 of us. We were able to really enjoy the rafting excursion having the instructor do all the padding for the group. It gave us more time to talk & enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounded us!
