Start the tour in the afternoon by 4×4 vehicle and drive to Desert Safari empty quarter, you will be seeing the largest desert of the World "Empty Quarter" that spreads across many countries of the Middle East.
You will see the 5 square kilometres spread plantation of Frankincense tree on the natural reserve at Wadi Dawkah (UNESCO).
You will see also the historical site of Ubar at the town of Shisr, known as The Lost City or Ubar or Atlantis of the Sand or the city of the pillars. This city was used for the trade of Frankincense, which was once traded as Gold and Silver.
Next stop is the black camel farm which it was using for transporting the Frankincense.
What else could be better than a walk on the desert and seeing the setting sun. Have sand bashing in the desert (optional) and sand. The guide and the driver is experienced in the desert driving.

5.00We have had an amazing Day with Khalid. He showed us the perfect spot for the sunset and told us a Lot of interesting things about the farms on the way. We enjoyed our snacks and coffee on one of the dunes with a great view just after trying sandboarding which was an amazing adventure. Thank you Khalid for this wonderdul Day.

5.00We attended the desert sunset privat tour and it was absolutely amazing! Our guide Ahmed was very kind and also very funny, so we had a joyful and wonderful time. The whole tour was beyond expectations, but the highlight was definitely the time we have spent in the desert. Walking around on the sand feels like silk on the feet. And watching the magical sunset made us feel like we are on the top of the world. We will never forget these magical moments and this wonderful day! Thank you so very much!

5.00We did the “sunset over the dunes” trip in a group of 9 people with two children, on two comfortable and spacious 4x4 off-road vehicles. The tour took place in several stages: incense tree, black camel farm, Ubar site (UNESCO cultural heritage) and coffee break, as well as of course the desert dunes. Arriving on the dunes, about a couple of hours before sunset, we had time to take pictures, explore the place and snowboard down the dunes. Shortly before sunset, the guides prepared a small refreshment with carpets, pillows, food and drinks (juice, coffee, water, sandwiches and fruit). Before returning, we stopped to admire the stars. The tour was overall very nice and fun, our guide spoke very good English and provided us with a lot of information and curiosities.

5.00Our guide Ahmed made the desert safari an unforgettable, impressive experience for us. He showed us the sights such as the incense tree plantation, the excavation site Ubar, the black camels and much more about the land and people in a competent manner and brought them closer to us. The highlight of the tour was of course the desert. We were even allowed to travel a short distance with the Jeep itself. You can only recommend Ahmed and Glory Tours, the excursion exceeded all expectations of us. A great country.
