It’s hard to describe the feeling of approaching a desert to someone who has never seen one before. You can describe what you see; a drying of landscape, a browning of land and a slow disappearing of trees and shrubs and signs of life. Before, all of a sudden, the dunes appear. 5.00We felt totally comfortable from the beginning to the end, not least because of our sympathetic and warm guide. It was taken into account all our wishes and we got a lot explained about the country and people. On the way to the desert there were several stops, such as visiting a black camel herd, where you can even pet these wonderful animals. Arab coffee with dates should not be missed either. Unfortunately, we did not see the sunset because it was very cloudy. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable experience and a great tour that we would highly recommend to everyone.

5.00If you are visiting salalah this is an absolute must . Azuz our guide was outstanding going above and beyond to make our trip memorable from meeting black camels and actually being able to milk one to the most incredible and breath taking views in the dunes. fabulous Arabic coffee and dates and a wonderful meal. Azuz was also able to reconnect me with a a friend of my late fathers who we had lost contact with over 37 years ago from a picture I showed him !!

5.00We made the tour with Azuz, the guide! He was amazing, very kind, he knew everything about the places we visited. He can speak english very well. The tour lasts 7 hours, it fits with people don’t want to sleep in the desert. I do racccomend it!

5.00This experience will remain unforgettable forever... because a dream has come true. The tour was organized from the lovely communication at the beginning to the conclusion top. Our guide Azuz was super nice and easy with full heart. We made great stops on the way to the desert that brought you closer to a country and people. For my son, one of the highlights was milking a camel right in the desert. In the sand dunes themselves, driving from Azuz was a lot of fun and the feeling will remain unforgettable. Great photos in a breathtaking setting complete the whole thing. Finally, we had a delicious meal in Omani style. The price/performance ratio is absolutely top here and I wish you lots of fun with your tours. Keep your unique and family atmosphere. Best regards Verena

5.00A wonderful day and a great tour with our guide Abdul. He gave us a nice insight into this area and told us a lot about landscape, nature and the Omanis from this part of the country. Thanks to his driving skills, we also came back from the sand dunes without any problems. In addition to a taste of camel milk, we got a real Omani dinner on the way back. In Ubar you can imagine the hard life people must have had during this time (no GPS, no tarred roads, no smartphones and only with their animals in a more hostile environment). We will remember this tour with Avdul for a long time!

5.00If you think that there isn't much to see on this tour you are wrong. The tour is full of interesting insight in this area north of Salalah and if you have Abdul as your guide you'll find out a lot about nature, animals and the Omani people. He'll take to the black camels, you will drink camelmilk, see the remains of this long hidden place Ubar and as a highlight see the sundown in the sanddunes. Good thing is that Abdul was the driver as I woudn't dare to drive in such places. On the way home we had an real omani meal. What a great day with Abdul! We'll remember a long time.
