We begin on the mainland with a morning brief at Freedom Rainbow Beach. At 9:30, once the brief is over and we’re packed and ready to go, we depart for Fraser Island (K'Gari). After a quick 10 minute drive to the ferry, we board for a short barge crossing to World Heritage listed Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island! Once we land, we drive for around 1 hour to Eurong Resort along what’s known as Fraser Island’s beach highway, the 75 Mile Beach (with a speed limit of 80 km/49 mph)! There you can grab a coffee and a snack for morning tea (own cost).

I went on a 3D2N tour in a group of 30-ish people. Wayde was best tour guide! He was very attentive and engaging, which made the tour feel safe and fun. I went with a twisted ankle to which he was extra accommodating to. Watde made sure everyone had a turn driving each day. Food was fantastic too - ample food, even for vegetarians and vegans. The tour is quite appropriately priced. Highly recommend.
