What To Expect
Pyramids of Giza
After breakfast at 08:00 a.m. our tour guide will meet you and transfer you from your hotel to the Giza Plateau to visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren and Mikerinos which are guarded by the rock-cut statue – The Great Sphinx. The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still standing today, despite being 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list. and you will go on a 20 minute camel ride near the magnificent pyramids of Giza.

5.00Our visit to the Pyramids of Giza was nothing short of magical, and it was all thanks to our incredible tour guide,Mr. Gamal! From the very start, he greeted us with a warm smile and an infectious enthusiasm that set the tone for the entire day. His knowledge of ancient Egyptian history was absolutely impressive, and he explained everything in such a clear, engaging, and passionate way. We didn't just see but truly experienced them. What really stood out was how thoughtful and attentive he was. He answered all our questions with patience, made sure we had time for photos (he suggested many fun poses and great viewpoints) and just overall made everything super fun! Thank you for the wonderful experience Mr. Gamal!

5.00My family and I did the research and that didn't come close to the experience Gamal provided for us! It was effortless for him with the depth of knowledge he has and the passion for sharing it with others! Anyone can make it to the Pyramids, it's the connections and friends he has that can get you to the best spots for photos and memories. There would have been no way we could have fully enjoyed Old Cairo, The Hanging Church, Great Sphinx of Giza, Pyramids and the shopping without Gamal's guidance and especially without Badia battling the traffic and driving us to all the locations. Please, do not come to Cairo and not get the full experience. Great English, a wealth of knowledge and you get treated as though you are family!

5.00Gamal did a fantastic job leading us around. He handled all of the security and other tourist personnel for us. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I don’t think I would go to these monuments if it wasn’t for Gamal guiding us.

Even though it was our first tour with them, It felt like we were friends for a very long time. We enjoyed all the information and interesting facts Gamal shared during the tour and George took some very unique pictures and videos of us. The whole experience was extremely pleasant and I would highly recommend their services!

5.00We had a wonderful time with Gamal. We were amazed by Gamal’s extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and the pyramids itself. Gamal not only made us feel safe and at ease, he helped us navigate the best spots to take photos and provided fascinating information about each site. We throughly enjoyed our time with him so much, that we booked a second tour with him a few days later. I highly recommend Gamal and his tour company. I look forward to returning to Egypt for another planned trip with Discover Egypt Tours.

5.00Gamal was a very welcoming and knowledgable tour guide. He shared great ancient Egyptian history and stories and I just wanted to learn more! We also went to have lunch, Koshary, a local dish that’s considered as a carbs bomb because it has rice, pasta, beans, etc. very fulfilling! This half-day trip to the pyramid was really memorable and the experience was smooth as Gamal took care of everything! Highly recommended if you are looking for a private tour!
