Very comfortable mini bus and the driver likes to have a chat. The drive is a bit bumpy but the bus can handle it and lots of time to see the horses

The Viking Adventure tour to the Rising Tides sculptures was interesting, informative and fun. We did not pre-book and booked the trip after disembarking from our cruise ship. We got straight onto our minibus after meeting our guide, Alphonse. Not only did we visit the sculptures, but we were shown various other local points of interest. Alphonse provided a great commentary on the trip and also provided many insights into Norwegian life and culture. I thought the cost was reasonable for Norway and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Super excursion. Jason was an excellent guide. Just the right number of passengers in the mini bus. A shame it wasn’t longer.

1.5 hour tour from Haugesund, pickup next to the pier. Small bus tour. Great company, would use again. Got dropped off in town on the way back so we didn’t have to walk over the bridge, did feel it was quite a walk from main shopping area. Would recommend the shuttle if not doing a tour.

We booked this last minute on our way to Haugesund as we had nothing planned for our day and public transport options seemed somewhat limited with lots of walking required to get to the rising tides (we have a 4 year old). All the Viking Adventures representatives were extremely friendly. There is a permanent building on the dock as you leave your cruise ship. When they saw our son, they went to get an appropriate car seat for him for the mini bus ride. We hadn't told them his age or anything in advance. The mini bus was very nice and seated around 15 I believe so the group size was nice and small. The tour guide (Alphonse, I believe, apologies if incorrect), was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region and Norway as a whole. His commentary was informative and interesting. Even our little boy listened happily. We had three stops on our 1.5 hour tour and were off the bus for 10-15 minutes at each stop. We went up to a scenic viewpoint, the rising tides and also a monument. You had the option to get off the mini bus at the end of the tour by the viking museum which is in the center of the town, we did this and had a wander around before walking back to our cruise ship. We are glad we booked it and believe we saw some of the best bits of Haugesund. Would recommend booking directly as it was very simple to do and all went smoothly - plus a great deal cheaper than the P&O similar excursion.

The minibus was nice , the tour guide and driver knowledgeable. The main disappointment was that the location is just a bit boring and you felt it would be better to give it a miss and stop somewhere else instead.

a lovely tour on a minibus, maybe about 15 of us so nice and small. A really lovely knowlegeable driver (ex teacher) who had some very interesting stories about Norway, stops at a few places for 10 mins at a time, highly recommend.

Great tour, showing the main points of interest of Haugesund. We had a friendly, knowledgeable local guide, and a wonderful driver, who were more than happy to share little anecdotes about the area. Small group tour, which gave a more personal experience, and plenty of photo stops along the way. Highly recommend.
