This Experience takes place in Casa Cenote a perfect open water environment that suits complete beginners. A beautiful unique mangrove ecosystem that connects to the ocean and gives the feeling of diving underneath the jungle. A variety of aquatic life can be seen including young barracudas, tarpons, bright blue swimmer crabs and moral eels.

What To Expect
The Discover Scuba Diving program allows you to dive with out being certified, making it perfect for those who have never dived before and want to give it a try. It's also a good way to test the waters to see whether you want to go on to get your open water certification. Under the close guidance of a PADI Instructor, we start with some basic theory and an introduction to the equipment then head to Casa Cenote to practice some safety skills and make a dive to around 7m/21ft.

5.00Not once but twice... is the same month did I dive with Flying Fish Tulum. A small shop easy to to find. Like you I found them on the web and I liked them because they had gear. I only wanted to do a few dive and didn't want to bring any. After all it was a trip with diving and not a dive trip. Jamie and his wife were really cool and helpful. Jamie's wife is very serious about your lunch so come hungry. The dive staff is helpful and friendly. I said twice. I was back in Tulum to do some diving but the seas were really high and no boats were going out and I contacted Jamie at the last min and he was able to book me another Cenote dive the following morning. Next time I am in Tulum or Cancun and want to do some diving they will be the first place I contact.

5.00Seamless planning with Jamie. Lunches complete with Georgina’s homemade granola bars. And Dive Master Chris - with calm, fun, and confidence building instruction made this nervous mom relax, entrust him with her kids and enjoy unforgettable cavern adventures. Wish we had a third day to dive more!

5.00We had a wonderful time diving with Chris in Casa Cenote! He was very knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely be back. We enjoyed exploring and seeing Panchito the crocodile, and great sandwiches and snacks were provided for lunch!

5.00Rubi was an amazing guide! We had not had previous diving experience in cenotes before, but he made us feel comfortable and guided us from the easiest to the most challenging. We loved the differences between the cenotes. Rubi took great care of everything and was very thoughtful as well. We greatly appreciate him and would book with him again!

5.00My girlfriend and I recently went scuba diving for the first time here and it was amazing. The instructor was excellent and had us scuba diving in about 20 minutes. If you are in Tulum and thinking about diving at all, definitely go with Jaime and his team.

5.00Just had a brilliant day with Peggy from Flying Fish Tulum. My son completed his Discover Scuba Diving at Casa Cenote and was thrilled by the whole experience. Peggy was just amazing - she put him completely at ease right from the start. The cenote was a perfect location too - a nice sandy spot to start with whilst they ran through the basics then lots of variety of underwater landscapes and loads of wildlife. Peggy did a great job of pointing out lots of beasties to look at. A wonderful experience and getting up close with Panchito the crocodile made it that bit more exciting!

5.00This tour was excellent. An unforgettable way to experience our first Cenote on the Yucatan. We were staying in Cancun, and the Uber to Tulum was easy; 2 hours. We spent the morning and early afternoon on the tour; budget the day and let yourself enjoy it fully. Flying Fish Tulum and Mario were fantastic. The shop is easy and not a tourist trap, I wouldn't hesitate to call them direct. Patient, professional, and genuinely kind. The gear was in great condition. Mario did a very good job on the training and safety. He was detailed without being dull and perfect for first-timers. Casa itself is breathtaking. The water looks like emerald glass, and the visibility is surreal. It’s not a deep cave system like some cenotes; it feels more open and full of life, with tons of fish and vibrant aquatic plants. You instantly understand why the Maya considered these Savred Wells. The Discover Scuba Dive here is a perfect intro if you're curious about diving or short on time. If you have the time to go further, or expect you'll be back in would recommend just jumping on the full certification.
