What is an ArtCrawl?
A customised walking tour of independent contemporary art spaces. A guide to the spaces as well as the art.
ArtCrawls are like having that artsy friend that takes you to surprising places you wouldn’t have found on your own.
Where?
In different art spaces, galleries, artist and designer studios, local cafes, shops and events - depending on what interests you and what is on in town.
When?
Generally, Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm. A tour lasts around 3 hours.
Who is it for?
Anyone. Really! No prior knowledge is needed, genuine curiosity will suffice.
How many people can attend?
A minimum of 1, maximum 12. ArtCrawls are meant for small groups of people, so we can discuss the art.
What’s included?
Besides the experience, you also get an online map with cool spots in Cluj and a newspaper full of art! Entrance fees, if any, are included.

5.00Helga responded quickly and was flexible to arrange a tour for my husband and I. She was obviously knowledgable and devoted to the contemporary art scene of Cluj. She was pleasant, curious and had a great sense of planning a unique tour based on our interest. Throughout the tour we had interesting conversations about art which we would not have had, had it just been my husband and I. Nor would we have found the places. It is highly recommended to do an artcrawl in Cluj.

She can fill you in on important context information as well as muse about the deeper questions that surround any given art piece or art show on the tour. I 100% recommend!

5.00I had a great tour with focus on local crafts and workshops! You can choose between different topics (local artists, handcraft, streetart, ...) and Helga will organize a special tour just for your interessts and wishes. She will also answer any questions on recommendations for food, museums, (unknown) sights. It was the best tour I ever had. Great! I can highly recommend to book a tour!
