Walking is the best way to get close to the sights, sounds and smells of the REAL Vanuatu! We have a range of trails that take in beaches, plantations, native villages, rivers and jungle. We can accommodate all levels of experience and fitness, and only take small groups.

5.00This was absolutely an amazing experience. Jackie and Tamon were so helpful and kind. They were extremely knowledgeable and shared insights into local culture and history, including food, plant medicines, animals, and rituals. They answered every question with deep understanding. They took me around the village, visited a local school, and we stopped at the beach for a light lunch of fruit. The entire tour lasted around 3 hours. My guides created a very relaxed and fun environment.

5.00Went hiking with Barbara in a small group and learned about the native plants and wildlife, she was happy to answer any and all questions we had. Ecotours also does a lot for the local community which we were very happy to hear and learn about.

5.00I was lucky the tour went ahead even though it was just me. Jacky is a fabulous guide. No need for me to do any research of Vanuatu traditions or customs as he told me just about all of them. The walk itself was wonderful and the highlight of the walk was definitely going through the two villages to experience a taste of local life. Thanks Jacky for making this tour a memorable one.

Berry provided fascinating insights into local traditions, fruits, the economy, and so much more. No matter what we asked about the country, he had an answer! 5.00Really lovely and informative trip. The guide, Berry, was really funny and had a deep knowledge about the local agriculture and important plants. After a moderate trek to the village we met the chief and shared some refreshments. The walk isn’t too hard just very hot. Bring extra sunscreen.

5.00Great customer service orientated company. This walk takes you slowly round a rural area where people live their own quiet reflective lives. The guides are both lovely guys and even their bad jokes are funny in a setting like this. They know their stuff about everything, the plants trees culture history just everything. We met a few lovely people and said hello to the kids at a French school. To be honest after seeing this way of living and just enjoying the tranquillity it made us question a lot of things we do ourselves in our so called advanced way of living. Really good value also.
