Come and discover the magical universe of the lava tunnels of the 2004 flow of Piton de la Fournaise in the town of Sainte-Rose with our instructors specialized in volcanology

• 2h30 hiking-caving circuit underground easy level accessible from 5 years old in a recent lava tunnel filled with exceptional basaltic formations (lava waterfalls, vitrified walls, benches, lava stalactites, lava stalagmites etc...)

• Supervision in small groups of 8 people maximum for more safety and conviviality.

• Specific clean and quality equipment provided

• Photo report and aperitif offered at the end of each visit

• Visits possible in French and English

• It is necessary to be able to walk on all fours for about 15 meters so to have sufficient mobility to participate in this activity

Very cool experience. Our guide was not only highly experienced, but also super nice and telling us interesting facts about the tunnels, volcano, biodiversity on the island and anything else we wanted to know. Highly recommended! Be sure to follow the clothing recommendations (long trousers and a t-shirt) to avoid random scrapes on legs or shoulders.

A great team and a great experience! Thanks to Fred for sharing his passion and Vincent for helping me get the photos back from the release. For those who read the comment, I had already done it alone but the experience is much more rewarding with a guide...don't hesitate!
