I went to the sports bar by myself and wanted to say how amazing my waitress Catia was. She was very attentive, watched my drink when I went to the toilet and was lovely all round. Visit the sports bar if you get a chance, great drinks and staff!

Disneyland is a super nice park but has become a money pump because just for 2 days at the hotel and the different services we had for almost 3000 € for 3 people and not to mention the endless waits at the attractions which is between 40 minutes for the minimum and 140 minutes for those where there are the most. If you ever want to take full advantage of it you can always take a €200 pass per person that will take you past the endless lines. Yes I forgot the meal at the Princesses Pavilion or before our arrival cost us 100€ per person or 300€ in total, and after choosing a formula in half board with the evening meal initially planned we had to add 250€ for the evening meal because the Pavilion had taken us in addition the 250€ which was credited on the card for the evening hence a meal that came back to us at 550€ for 3 people at the Princesses Pavilion where we saw 3 princesses and mickey. It's expensive. Anyway the park is nice to discover but I find the prices charged unacceptable, and I find that the staff of attractions is sometimes a little long to set up people. I think that for all his reasons we will not come back from here and that is a shame. We should review some points and prices to make everything perfect.

Disneyland Paris Park Review I’ve just returned from my first visit to Disneyland Paris with two children aged 7 and 3. We stayed 5 days/4 nights at Hotel Cheyenne, which I wouldn’t personally recommend. Overall, I found the experience a mixed bag for the price, especially compared to the USA parks which offer much better value for families. The biggest issue was the queues and suitable rides – unless you are prepared to pay extra, expect wait times of 70+ minutes for many rides, especially during school holiday periods. Because of this, we often couldn’t do as much as we’d hoped. The app is also poor and difficult to use, with unclear information and show times. I found myself having to ask staff or online for help frequently. We also purchased the Ultimate Premier Access, which cost around €500 for one day !! , but it wasn’t worth it for our age group. It is only valid on certain rides, and many of these are not suitable for younger children. Because of this, we didn’t get full use out of it, which made it poor value for a family with a 3-year-old. Character meets hard to organise a suitable or well known one. They are booked virtually through the app, sell out very quickly, and you must be on-site with all tickets activated. We didn’t manage to meet any characters at all, There are so many gift shops and not enough interactive spaces for younger children or outdoor play areas to let them run free of queues and waiting. We went into snow white’s cottage thinking it would be interactive but it was yet another gift shop! Food options were expensive and mostly repetitive although the Mickey cookies are nice and the €10 popcorn is worth it for the reusable container. On the positive side, the grounds outside the park are lovely. The fireworks display was excellent, and the parade was really enjoyable, it was lovely to get a hug from Mirabel for the kids . We also enjoyed the small boat ride and the steam train and loved it’s a small world. Overall, I don’t feel Disneyland Paris offers as good value for money as USA , particularly for families with younger children ride wise and it needs to address these issues for it to be worth it. I spent a fortune buying ultimate passes to one day then not getting on dumbo or the carousel for the wee one and had to buy individual passes for suitable ones the following days to avoid the 70-90 minute waits !

It is only valid on certain rides, and many of these are not suitable for younger children. Because of this, we didn’t get full use out of it, which made it poor value for a family with a 3-year-old. Character meets were a let-down. They are booked virtually through the app, sell out very quickly, and you must be on-site with all tickets activated. We didn’t manage to meet any characters at all, which was really disappointing for the kids. Ones available were the white rabbit (kids don’t know this character ) and Pluto. Kids didn’t want to meet him. What’s wrong with the old way of more Disney princesses and characters being around the park and people going to see them until it’s time up?! There are also far too many gift shops and not enough interactive spaces for younger children. Food options were limited in places and expensive although the Mickey cookies are nice and the €10 popcorn is worth it for the reusable container. On the positive side, the grounds outside the park are lovely. The fireworks display was excellent but on very late and is loud and the parade was enjoyable and the kids enjoyed getting a hug from Mirabel although it would be nice to see more variety in characters during the 5 days there. We also enjoyed the small boat ride around the Disney scenes and the steam train. Its a Small World was the best for 3 year old, I did have to buy extra premier tickets for this rather than wait the 65 mins on the third day ! Overall, I don’t feel Disneyland Paris offers good value for money, particularly for families with younger children and I did spend a fortune trying to avoid the huge queues!

Far too many flagship attractions closed "temporarily". Monstrous waits exceeding 60 or even 90 minutes for disappointing and old-fashioned attractions. All this for a price way too high
