What makes this experience unique is the fact that it is a very hands on, bespoke, personal and very knowledgeable workshop like no other in the country. Where you learn of the workings of a micro distillery, get to taste different spirit profiles, you also get to design and make your very own bottle of gin to take home with you after the class.

What To Expect

You will be welcomed to a bespoke micro distillery room where you will receive a gin and tonic on arrival. Guests will be allowed to settle in with a run through of the outline of the class. Each guest will then try three different gin tasting samples and then design their own bespoke gin recipe from the available ingredients. Guests will then use an individual mini copper still to distill their chosen ingredients to produce a 500ml (50cl) bottle of gin to take home with them. While their gin is distilling they will enjoy a cocktail and once their gin has been distilled, they will taste their newly made gin before bottling, labelling, naming and wax sealing their end product to take away with them.

Great experience! Create your own gin from scratch, choose botany, test, smell, taste... everything was really nice and well explained. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, we don’t see time passing. I did three such experiments and this one was clearly the best. We leave with our gin, smile, and great memories. I recommend 100% Plus: he has a great choice of botany to make his gin, according to his desires.

I had a fantastic time tasting, learning about and then distilling my own gin. Gary was a great teacher. He is incredibly knowledge and really easy to talk to. If you are a fan of spirits this course is absolutely worth attending

It's been the second time I was there for the gin workshop. There's only a handful of stills, which makes it a personal thing and you are well looked after. (I did a similar workshop in Germany, there were 20 people, there was not much advice given or something) However, I finally opened my bottle now; wasn't quite the outcome I was looking for, but it's definitely a gin like no other :) This workshop is so much fun!

We had the best time! Gary was an amazing host and made the whole experience fun, educational, and did I say fun? He has such passion for his craft and delighted in sharing it with us. Making and naming our own bottle of gin was a first for us and we are so excited to share our creation with friends.
