What To Expect
Our dive baptism consists of two parts. In the first one, we will give an explanatory talk about the parts of the equipment that we will use later, as well as its operation and the basic rules of the steer. We will also tell you how the baptism will be step by step so that there is no doubt and the first immersion goes like silk. After the theoretical preparation, it will be time to put on the suit and put on the equipment and go to the water. Our first dive will last 45 minutes and we will dive to a depth of between 8 and 10 meters, always accompanied by the instructor, who will assist us at all times.

5.00Absolutely amazing experience!!! I only wish i had booked it earlier in my holiday as i would 100% have booked the 2 dives and this will be the first thing i do the next time i visit Tenerife. Mariano was so friendly from the start, explaining the different options and what I should expect. There was constant communication via whatsapp leading up to the day and any questions I asked were answered quickly. On the day I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We met at the dive centre, got our kit ready then drive to the dive site. Everything about the dive was explained perfectly before we got in the water. I know the wildlife is wild and we must have been extreamly lucky as the first thing we saw was a sea turtle, within the first 5 mins i was in touching distance of a sea turtle. After this we saw so many different types of fish, rock formations, and an octopus. The dive instructor was constantly checking on my well being and giving clear instructions while allowing me freedom to explore. I have snorkled on pretty much every holiday but I get a bit nervous in the sea as I’m always worried something will “get me” but I felt completely safe and relaxed the whole time we were in the water. If you want to dive, book with these guys, if you have been thinking about diving but are not sure, book with these guys!! I’ve alsready started looking at open water diving courses when I get home😂😂 Thanks for the experience Médano Dive, I will see you next time

5.00Highly highly recommended! This was our first ever experience trying out scuba diving: the team are super friendly, knowledgeable and patient (even when giving me the same instructions 300 times because I can't seem to close my mouth underwater 🫣). As a first timer, I had such a gorgeous time seeing all the marine life that is within a few dozen metres of the beach, you'd never know it without giving this a go! I felt completely safe at all times (once I closed my mouth) and would encourage anyone who is interested in trying out scuba diving for the first time to book a session. Huge thanks to David and Liam, but most of all to Chris who had the patience of a saint and made the experience so memorable. You were all fab and I really hope to be back next time I'm in Medano, perhaps with some more experience!
In safe hands, gentle pace, great sights underwater, paid extra €10 for underwater video and photos.

5.00We did the try dive and felt in very safe hands. We were both a little nervous with it being our first time but the instructor, Ismael went at a gentle pace. We saw lots of wonderful fish and other finds under the water and Ismael was on hand to help with any little adjustments and checked in with us very often. We also paid the €10 extra to have an underwater video and photos taken which is a wonderful idea. Very impressed!

5.00Medanodive is an Enterprise of 10. I had personal problems being able to go to my course and was changed on several occasions without problem, always with a very close attention from Helen. The diving baptism I did with Isma and it was like going diving with a friend, better impossible. Explain everything perfect, worry that you are always well and enjoying yourself, are watching to teach you everything possible during the dive, and make the course pass you by in the blink of an eye. I recommend 100% this company, and 10 for Isma.

5.00A totally memorable experience made with my group of students of 17 people. The attitude and willingness of the Médano Diving team was excellent and at the end of the day all the boys underlined that it had been a fantastic day with both diving and snorkeling baptism. 5.00I wanted to enjoy this experience for a long time, and thanks to a friend I was able to fulfill it. At first, when you want to have this experience, the most important thing is to meet close professionals, and with Ishmael and Chris we find them. From the first moment they were very close and friendly, and made things easier for us. In the end Ishmael was our instructor and the experience was very good. Being submerged is something extraordinary.....a new world that you had previously seen in a limited way, opens to your eyes. Without a doubt, these guys work it out to make your experience something to remember, and especially repeat. I consider your close and professional treatment to be an added value in your work as an Enterprise, and of course, they are absolutely recommended. I'll repeat.
