Explorer is as fun as it sounds – a chance for kids to blow bubbles by scuba diving. Children who are at least 6 years old can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water. Have a party or celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting bubbles event with friends and family .
A child must be 6 years old or older. Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.
Explorers get a chance to:
-Experience scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of a SSI or PADI Pro.
-Take their first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6 feet.
-Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children – not adults.
-Have lots of fun.

What To Expect
In the SSI Explorer program allows children starting at age six to go underwater and sample the different ways they can explore the aquatic world around them. Participants get a basic introduction to how to use scuba gear, how to clear a regulator and mask, and an overview of breathing do’s and don’ts. We will advise you about anything else you need.

5.00I have never tried scuba and was very excited to try it in Boracay. It was my first and I'm very glad I did it with them. They are very accommodating and pro with what they do. I experienced scuba diving with ease and they've even taken some videos of me underwater which is amazing. You can never go wrong in choosing Dive Gurus for your accommodation at Boracay. They are hospitable at its best and the place is great since it's at the beach line. My wife and I really enjoyed the scenic and beautiful sunset. We will definitely stay at Dive Gurus again on our next visit.

5.00I'm a PADI professional and I've been diving (as a customer) with Dive Gurus since 2000 or so. They are a well-established shop with some of the most knowledgeable staff on the island. The shop is a little smaller than some of the others, but that allows for a more personal touch. I wouldn't dive with anyone else on Boracay. Ga and the Dive Gurus staff will take excellent care of you.

5.00For me the Dive Gurus Resort is the place to be in Boracay. Everything is clean and the crew is just lovely. The Chicken Adobo and the Mango Shake are best on the island! We will definitly come back!!

5.00I got my Open Water certification in Canada and while in Boracay I got my Advanced and Nitrox certification. The staff at DiveGurus has been great over the years and I have done 20 or more fun dives with them. The staff is great, their roof top restaurant is clean, well run and the food is great. I’m really missing them! I highly recommend DiveGurus in Boracay!

5.00I thought diving is a hard thing to do, but then the staffs of Diving Gurus is hands on about teaching how to dive, they will teach you exactly what to do when you are inside the water. They will let you experience the best diving experience of your life. I hope I can go back and experience it again.
