  I had a fantastic dive with Matjaz Repnik in Lake Bled. I was particularly impressed by the flexibility: He organized the dive at extremely short notice, which went absolutely smoothly. Matjaz is a professional and knows the best spots in the lake. Highly recommended!

  It was my son’s best birthday ever! The experience of the dive was the best present! The knowledge and skills gained during the course inspire a sense of connection with nature and respect for every living creature! The instructor’s professional and responsible approach inspires confidence! I highly recommend rediscovering our planet underwater with a qualified instructor!

  Had a wonderful morning dive in bled lake with a hugh catfish. Can highly recommand to go diving with Matjaž. Visibility in March 5-10m, water temp 8°C at 5m depth. Best time to go is in summer with more fish and warmer water temperature but anyway the lake also offers quite a lot in winter, when the mountain peaks are still covered in snow. There is no dive center at the lake but parking lots opposite of Hotel Jadran where you can get ready and just walk 30 meters to the water.

  I've taken two courses with Matjaz, and both were excellent. Professional, detailed, well-organized, and I felt very safe during both dives. Mat explains things well, is demanding, and leaves no room for error. Diving with such an instructor is a pleasure.

  Diving at Lake Bled was an unforgettable experience! We booked two dives with Diving Bled and everything was perfect from start to finish. Our guide Mat was not only very professional and experienced, but also incredibly kind, friendly, and always available to help – he made us feel safe and at ease the whole time. On the first day, we explored the waters around the island of Bled, where we encountered huge catfish, carp, and many other fascinating freshwater species. The second dive was truly unique: under the wooden foundations that support the lakeside road. The atmosphere was magical, with light playing between the submerged structures – something really different from any other dive we’ve done before. The rental gear was in excellent condition and very reliable, and the water temperature (22°C at the lowest) made both dives comfortable and enjoyable. We had a fantastic time, and we can’t thank Mat enough for his professionalism and warmth.   I went on two dives, the first one was just the two of us in a cool area of Lake bled where there were loads of underwater wooden beams and huge sleeping catfish! This was my first dive after getting my open water qualification and my first dive in a lake. It was truly stunning, and I strongly recommend this dive to people who have a qualification! My second dive was a dsd with a friend who had never dived before. We were the only English speaking people in this dive group, and Matjaz was great at teaching the skills to everyone in both Slovenian and English. Unfortunately my friend could not go past the skills section of the dive. Matjaz was very kind in helping him try again, but when my friend decided to stop, the instructor was very understanding. The dive itself was very beautiful. Again, there was a lot of life underwater and Matjaz made sure to point it all out to us! Overall I am very happy with the experience and Matjaz’s guidance. I will never underestimate lake diving again!

  Very interesting dive along the foundation pillars underneath the boulevard with a.o. catfish! On the way back we also saw pike and carp. Very experienced dive instructor and a nice, different way to get to know Lake Bled.

  Great dives in Lake Bled with lots of catfish, zander, perch. The water is cold, so don't bring your Red Sea diving suit! 😂

  I recently completed the OWD course and, although it was quite intense, it turned out to be an amazing experience — largely thanks to our instructor, Matjaž. His sense of humor and positive energy helped keep the group calm and motivated. It’s clear that Matjaž has extensive experience in teaching scuba diving. He knows how to read the group dynamics and adapt his approach accordingly, making sure everyone feels supported and confident. We managed to complete all the required skills successfully, and I truly felt my progress from day to day. I can highly recommend this course to anyone considering diving — a great learning experience with an even better instructor!
