Mr. Tiger took good care of us. He has a wealth of knowledge about Korean history and culture. We had an amazing time, especially at the Korean War Museum and Ikseon-dong hanok village. Not only was he considerate & mindful, he's also very funny!

I am a first time visitor from the US and came to see my daughter who is studying abroad this fall at Sogang University. This was a perfect tour as we were able to experience 4 different places together. We chose a Palace (with changing of the guards), Hanok Village, a Temple and the Botanical Gardens. Our tour guide Joseph was amazing and really took care of us. He also took many pictures of my daughter and I all day and forwarded them all to me after the tour. So thankful to have the pictures and for his expertise.

We had a great day with Joseph. He helped us re-arrange our day last minute to get the most of it. He was personable, knowledgeable, grabbed us a great spot to see the changing of the guard ceremony at the Palace, took looks of great pictures for us &, best of all, gave us plenty of time at all stops to let us see everything without feeling rushed. One note - most Palaces & Museums are closed on either Mondays or Tuesdays so do your research before choosing your tour day.

I picked this tour when I did not find a tour that matched where I wanted to go This tour allowed me to piece together my ideal tour. Our tour guy Leo was fantastic! I Highly recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable and took us to our choice of sites. Felt that he gave us a wonderful tour. Also suggested a delicious place for lunch.

This was the perfect tour for my daughter and I. I don't like to do big tour groups, so this was a great option because we were able to pick the places we wanted to go. Our guide Joseph took us to rent hanbok prior to entering the Gyeongbokgung Palace. He also knew the perfect place to stand for viewing the changing of the guard ceremony. He instructed us not to enter the palace until after the ceremony because you cannot exit once you enter. Also, note that if you rent the hanbok, palace entrance is free. Note, that you do have a time limit on the hanbok so plan accordingly. We next went to Starfield Coex and ate lunch and browsed the library and mall. Joseph also helped us find stores we were looking for which was really helpful since most of the staff only spoke Korean. The last place was the museum. We could have gone 4 place but we were exhausted so we only did 3. The best things is having the guide and they drive you everywhere so you don't have to worry about transportation to places making this a great value.

The tour was more than what we bargained for. I have traveled to different parts of the world and had a tour guide and no one beats the professionalism and charm that Joseph has. Spending time with Joseph gave us an insight of the history of Korea, especially the tour of the Gyeongbokyung Palace and the changing of the guards. We got not only a guide but also a professional photographer. This tour will be one of the most memorable of all.

We were very dissappointed with the guide. She was a uniquely poor communicator of the sites, historical periods and the dates and often confused periods. At the palaces she could not communicate basic information and added no value versus visiting without a guide. At one site she could not find parking so we just toured on our own. She was helpful in the food market, but still could have added more context. PLK needs to vet their guides much more carefully. PLK was also a poor fit which was my fault. They insisted we could not do this as a walking tour and was not flexible. The reality is that four sites we visited would have been very walkable and would have saved us and the guide driving and searching for parking.

Our family with my senior parents had an amazing day with Joseph! He was friendly, patient, on-time, flexible, respectful and knowledgeable. We sent a set itinerary (Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Myeondong Shopping Street) and important points we hope to accomplish during each site around Seoul. Joseph took many pictures and videos of us which were amazing. We did not expect this from him, but it was a bonus that Joseph was our private photographer as well. He also recommended restaurants to eat which were delicious and other must-see shopping areas we should check out while in Seoul. Thank you Joseph! Highly recommend PLK Travel and our tour guide, Joseph!
