The DMZ is located 52km away from downtown Seoul. It will take about an hour from down town seoul / Stay around 1hour at the imjingak park (See the freedom bridge, bunker, memorial hall etc.) / 3hours of DMZ Tour (3rd tunnel, observatory) Total duration will be 6-7hours until going back to the hotel.

What To Expect
Seoul
Guest will be picked up from the hotel in Seoul City and move straight to Imjingak Park where to start the DMZ tour. It will take about one hour, 54km distance from downtown Seoul. It may takes longer depending on traffic jam and hotel location.
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Firstly We will see the Freedom bridge, Underground bunker, Monument of US Forces, Memorial Hall, Peace bell etc. Imjingak is a park located on the banks of the Imjin River along the tracks of the former Gyeongui Train Line outside the Paju City, The park has many statues and monuments regarding the Korean War. Imjingak is where the "Freedom Bridge" lies. Crosses the Imjin river, it is a former railroad bridge which was used by repatriated POWs/soldiers returning from the North. Monument to US Forces in the Korean War The South Korean Ministry of Defense built the US Forces monument to commemorate noble sacrifices and achievements of US troops, and remember the 37,000 Americans who died and the 8,100 MIAs and POWs who gave their all in defense of the Korean people.

5.00We took a private DMZ tour yesterday with our tour guide, Wendy, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The entire experience was extremely well organized – the car was very comfortable, and our driver was excellent and professional throughout the day. Wendy was the perfect guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and current situation of the DMZ, and she explained everything in a clear and engaging way. We had lots of questions, and she answered all of them with great insight and detail. It was obvious that she truly loves what she does and has a deep understanding of the topic. The tour itself was fascinating and gave us a much better understanding of Korean history and the division between North and South Korea. Having a private tour allowed us to move at our own pace and really take in the experience. We can highly recommend this tour – and especially Wendy – to anyone interested in visiting the DMZ. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Korea!

5.00Phenomenal. I cannot express how thoughtful our driver Mr Kim and tour guide, Wendy are. They made sure we always saw the sights before the crowd, understood the history and current affairs and felt comfortable. If you had to do one thing in Korea, this is what I would recommend.
