We had a wonderful day at the DMZ guided by Won. She was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable and generous with sharing information with us. Paying to do the small group tour was definitely worth it - there were 8 in our group which meant there was lots of time to ask questions and learn throughout the day. The meeting with the North Korean defector was a real highlight of the day, as well as venturing into the 3rd tunnel which was a really tangible experience, and the observation tower to look into North Korea through binoculars was very memorable too. Highly recommend this tour

Thank you Sunny Seoul Korea for letting us have a private tour. Thanks to our wonderful guide Sophia who made the logistics very smooth and provided us with many interesting facts about the Korean War and the history of the DMZ, it was indeed a very special experience. The Gwangwha Peace Observatory was the highlight for us because it was less than 2 km away from North Korea and it wasn't as crowded as other sites in the DMZ. We really enjoyed the tour and definitely recommend it.

I went on your guided tour to the DMZ on Thursday 19th March (pick-up from my hotel at 06:30); our guide for the day was Ace. I just wanted to say what a fantastic experience I had: at times it was very sad and moving; and at all times it was thought-provoking. I found the question-and-answer session with the lady who had defected from North Korea very interesting and informative, and also our time at the observation tower brought out many different emotions and perspectives. I would particularly like to thank Ace for everything that she did. As a guide, she was friendly, courteous and approachable, and also well-informed and knowledgeable about all of the issues discussed during the trip. And when the tour was finished, she took time out to help me find a place where I could top up my Tmoney card in order that I could return to my hotel on the Seoul Metro. As we were parting company, I said to Ace that I would remember the trip and her part in it for the rest of my life. The whole thing was an amazing experience on so many levels and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Great tour with Sophia and Pak. Sophia was very knowledgeable with excellent English skills. She was very attentive and helpful in guiding us along and keeping us on track for the multiple stops and changes in transportation while visiting the DMZ. We would love to have her again as a tour guide. The highlight of the tour was meeting and being able to ask questions with the DPRK defector. An amazing story!

Ace was absolutely amazing! She made sure to give us buffer time since we had our grandma traveling with us, and she could answer any and all of our questions!

A wonderful historical and cultural trip with Han and Patrick who went out of their way to explain everything as we made our way through the DMZ. I would thoroughly recommend.

Captain Obvious holds a gun @ irony. @ DMZ a volley silent blanks ringout a crying echo ... Where North meets South like East meets West. Through binoculars we look to see how the barbed wire twain can meet again. Ace, Sunny Soul Tour guide showed the way on our intimate sojourn of three. Our individual questions were answered to promote the higher cause. P. McDonald Castlemaine Victoria, Australia

Sophia was an excellent guide and she gave us a lot of historical context and fascinating local information. I would go on any tour with her as our guide, but her personal connection to the DMZ gave it an edge on some of the other groups we saw there. Be prepared to walk, there are a lot of hills!
