What To Expect
Cardiff Castle
Cardiff has been the home of 'Doctor Who' since the show returned in 2005. On this fully guided walking tour you will get to see where over 30 memorable scenes from more than 20 episodes have taken place. Meeting outside Cardiff Castle your tour will include the scene of Danny Pinks death from Series 8, a visit to the National Museum of Wales which has hosted many scenes from the show, the site of Donna Nobles ill fated wedding, Rose Tyler’s workplace and much much more.

Your guide will show you how terrestrial and intergalactic scenes were filmed on location in Cardiff and give you the chance to follow in the footsteps of four of the Doctors’ and their assistants. The walk will finish in Cardiff city centre.

5.00Amazing tour! We would have never known about all the hidden locations around Cardiff and the TV pictures were excellent to match up the locations to what we've watched. The tour also introduced us to several Cardiff landmarks and gave us a great introduction to the city to help us get our bearings. The tour guide was engaging and absolutely lovely. We'll definitely come back for the Cardiff Bay tour!

5.00A wonderful and sunny day celebrating all things Doctor Who. Not only did we have a fabulous and enthusiastic tour guide - thank you Terrence! But we got to walk around Cardiff looking at various locations, looking at stills as we went. Not only did we have a huge insight into the fab show, but Terrence also gave some great facts into local Cardiff history too. It was really was a wonderful day out - would recommend to any Whovian!

5.00It was a very thorough tour visiting many of the Dr. Who filming sights. It's a must for any Dr. Who fans. We loved the Dr. Who anecdotes and stories peppered throughout the tour. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were lucky to be on the last tour of the year. We hope to make it to a future Torchwood tour.

5.00Doctor Who fan since I was a kid, so this was just a must do. Really enjoyed this tour from start to finish. Richard the tour guy was really good, pointing out everywhere and trying to get us to guess certain things. Well done to the lady who found Trap Street. Highly recommend this tour, I was smiling from start to finish. The little kid inside me was very happy

5.00Excellent tour with Richard, who was very knowledgeable and friendly providing many informative incites into the filming process due to his first hand experience of filming whilst acting in Dr Who. I highly recommend this tour, it was informative about doctor who filming locations, but also about the city of Cardiff too.

5.00We loved this tour. Our Whovian enjoyed every aspect and the rest of us enjoyed seeing great things in Cardiff. Our tour guide, Bill, told us all about the castle’s history and showed us some interesting other things, like the statue of the first black headmistress in Wales Betty Campbell. It was interactive if you wanted it to be, Bill asked and answered questions. And there was loads of opportunity to take photos, we weren’t rushed. A great few hours. Thanks Bill.
