First, our tour guide Asif was great. This review has no bearing on his commentary. However, I can’t recommend this tour. Lusail and Pearl Island consisted of driving around with two very short photo stops. The 30 minutes for Corniche was non existent. The 30 minute boat ride we felt was a waste of our time (it would have been much better at night with the city lights present). And lastly, the 90 minutes at the souq? Try 35 minutes of simply walking through with zero time for anyone to actually stop and look at anything or support the locals by actually purchasing something. Given how cheap Ubers are in Qatar I’d highly suggest simply visiting the areas of interest on your own.

We really enjoyed our Doha city tour. Our tour commenced at 2.00pm which was a good time as we were still touring as the sun set and were able to enjoy the city after dark. Would we do this tour again? Yes we would and our guid was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about all things Doha and very engaging his name is Saroj Neumann, a fantastic guide

Our Doha city tour with Ali was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, informative, and enjoyable. Ali was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Qatari history, culture, and modern development, but he also shared fascinating local stories and insights that made the city come alive.

Asif was an extraordinary tour guide who told us multiple times that his job was to make sure we had a great experience! And we did because of our guide. Asif was very flexible about the locations we toured. Our tour was scheduled for half a day Friday, we did not realize that most things were closed because it would was a day of prayers. He explained it to us and suggested that we break the tour unto two mornings so we were able to see more of Doha. He also suggested places to go that were not on the tour. He took us to the Msheireb or the three rooms which gave us the history of Qatar and the history of slavery. The dhow boat cruise was short, but gave us a beautiful panaromic view of the city. There is so much more that we saw and learned about Doha. He is a guide not to be missed.

This trip was more than we expected & our guide Nitesh went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We didn’t realise that we were the only people on this trip, so we had a personal guide, car and boat for our whole trip! We were taken to see popular tourist spots at Katara and the Pearl before heading to Souq Waqif night market. We were glad our guide stayed with us here because we would have easily got lost. Next we headed to the Corniche where we boarded our boat for a short cruise. This was wonderful and we got some fabulous photographs. Our guide took photos for us throughout the whole trip, helping to capture this lovely memory. This trip is highly recommended & Nitesh was a fabulous guide from start to finish.

I opted to do a personal tour. My guide 'Mr Nitesh' was excellent. He was extremely courteous & very knowledgeable. The tour was well paced. It was easy walking around the markets & villages while the drive between places was also good. The boat ride was definitely worth doing, short & sweet, but you get to see the famous city overall. I did this as a layover & was picked up & dropped off at the airport. I really felt I got a good overview of Doha. I would definitely recommend this. Side note, there's plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks & to purchase drinks. I did get the complimentary water. I also got a souvenir at the markets. I paid using my visa card & had no cash.

We were so impressed with Doha. The history, the architecture, the cleanliness, friendliness, high level of culture. Our guide was fantastic in his knowledge, respectfulness and attention to our needs. He showed us so many places and alternated outdoor experiences with air conditioned indoor experiences. We would love to come back for a few days and explore more and experience some night time activities.
