We've seen some really beautiful places. Unfortunately, the guide's English was unintelligible, even according to native English speakers. In addition, the guide told his story already in the foul smelling bus and did not bother to walk and explain once at a landmark. Fortunately, there were other groups with enthusiastic guides in many places, so we occasionally got something. All I saw our guide do was sleep, eat peanuts and smoke. Even telling the ladies to cover their knees in the pagoda was too much to ask. At the end of the ride we were back later than planned because our guide had to do his shopping. This trip was not that expensive, but all in all still too much money for what was offered. My advice is to skip this excursion and book a similar one somewhere else, as the waterfall, Pagodas, the Doi Inthanon and nature along the way are very impressive.

The collective meal in the village is nice but watch out for a little probiotic before it☺️. The traditional weaving work and tasting of teas and coffee nice too. Plan Bahts to support their work! Nice welcome, we see many things but the pace is really too fast to appreciate these beautiful places.

Beautiful scenery but tour guide is another story. He explained things in the van, can't hear and understand anything I sat in the back. He walks away most part when we at our destinations. I had to chase after him to ask the time to meet. I have met several tour guides but this one took the cake for the worse.

Drive out to attractions was on winding roads that climbed the highest mountain in the country Be prepared for 90+ minutes. Our guide was great (Pai) and clear to explain the attractions.. First waterfall was the nicest. Coffee /tea stop after was great. Visited the highest point and the grounds needed some care. Very cluttered, lots of leaf waste etc King and queen pagoda were pristine, but more time needed here. We had 30 minutes. We needed 45 at least. Lunch was delicious, hot and plenty to enjoy. Last waterfall a bust Very run down area, buildings in disrepair and honestly not worthy of 30 minutes. Waterfall was flowing but little else there to enjoy. Should be skipped and add time for pagoda.

Loved this trip. Visited a local village and had a nice lunch, also handicrafts to buy, no hard sell. Waterfalls were good, easy to walk to and the Royal project was pretty. A good day trip with a comfortable aircon van.

Enjoyed the day and sites. Didn’t care for all the opportunities to buy local crafts, food and produce…could have done that in Chiang Mai.
