Swimming tours do not cater for people with no swimming ability, all guests are required to have basic swimming ability as a minimum.
Tours are weather dependent and rely on suitable safe conditions. All tours are operated on the basis of interacting with wild animals. You are asked to appreciate that they are completely wild and are not trained to interact with people. All tours operate on a high 90% success rate of swimming and interacting with the Dolphins however you cannot be guaranteed to see them on every tour. Should you not see them you are welcome to come back any time within 3 months of your last tour for free. No refunds available.

What To Expect
Meet us at Sorrento Pier, collect your equipment and board the luxury ‘Moonraker.’ Once onboard we cruise into the bay your snorkel guides walk you through the activities and familiarising you with the boat. We firstly visit the shallow waters filled with seals of all ages and sizes, you will come face to face with these inquisitive animals and this experience is something that you will remember for life. Once back onboard we serve lunch, ensuring you’re energised and ready for our next snorkel. Once the dolphins are located we observe their behaviour and location before we approach the pod. In small groups of 10, we slide into the water, floating on the surface. We wait, for the dolphin's squeaks and whistles to get louder, a sign that they will join us and swim. Each encounter is totally unique, sometimes they will swim around us for endlessly other times they will glide past for a look and continue swimming, We spend as much time as possible swimming and sightseeing but need to ensure we are not changing their behaviour or lifestyle. The dolphins are resident to Port Phillip Bay, should you not see the dolphins you are welcome to come back for free anytime within 30 days.

5.00We had a fantastic day with a family of five. We were lucky enough to see a lot of dolphins on the day and even luckier to get to swim with them. Great day and the weather was fab which made it more special. Crew on board were also great

2.00It was an extremely warm day ,sat it the heat for an extra 30 minutes due to a late arrival of ten people,missed the chance to swim with dolphins as way to much waiting and watching in the end so many people were so hot and bothered and uncomfortable we stopped at the seals, everyone was so happy to get in the water just to cool off! staff were lovely but $175 each pretty disappointed 😞

4.00It was certainly an amazing time swimming with the seals closely in the sea. Their movements is beautiful. It was very pity that we were not able to spot the dolphin that day though I do understand you cannot guarantee anything from wildlifes. I would do it again for swimming with dolphins if I ever traveled Melbourne, but would be in a warmer season, this time the sea water was still in low temperature. We were freezing and shaking hard for long after coming out from the water.
