Im so grateful i did this trip on my last day in Tunisia as I have left with a better perspective and kinder thoughts on the country and people as uts not an easy country to navigate. Anyhow the driver/guide Ameur (as well as the 2 separate guides in Dougga and Bulla Regia) were absolutely professional, kind and warm. Ameur especially was wonderful in both English, arabic and French (I understand some french) and because of him I had the best meal in the whole country, the Mlawi sandwich. Tunisian cuisine probably very good, but restaurants aren't that great...however having a mlawi (it was a roadside place of all places) was amazing. The whole day blew my mind and everyone that has a day in Tunis should really aim to do this. It was far more impressive than Carthage!!

I've been travelling around the country for about 2 weeks and thought id seen many great sights including Carthage and Eljem these sights today blew my mind. Not only were the roman ruins far more spectacular than I couldve imagined (and far better than Carthage in my opinion) but the entire day trip with amazing driver/personal guide Ameur was the nicest touch. He was most accommodating, on time, fed me the best meal ive had in this country, the mlawi sandwich (food industry esp for tourists in restaurants i think needs massive improvement) and thus the whole day trip redeemed Tunisia in my eyes due to Ameurs beautiful nature. If you have only one day to sight ruins outside of Tunis, please pick this day trip. I dont mince words as ive travelled heavily and truly rely on this platform for honest appraisals by other travellers. It was easy effortless and mind blowing. U can't ask for more!

If you are interested in Roman ruins, this is your tour. And if you are not, this is also your tour. Incredible ruins with very knowledgeable local guides (trust me: you need them to go around both sites and not to miss anything). My driver was Ameur. He arrived on time and made sure everything was fine all the time. He also explained interesting things along the way. Lunch was on the road. It was tasty but a little bit spicy (even if I asked not to have harissa). Totally recommended.

The sites are amazing, especially Dougga. Our driver Ameur was very nice and helpful, and the car was new and had good aircon. The guides at the sites were excellent. Highly recommend.

Fascinating experience - if you are interested in archaeology this is definitely a must while visiting Tunisia. The western parts are also green and fertile - making a good contrast to the more arid centre and south of Tunisia.

The driver picked me up right on time and had a nice conversation and he gave me some information as we drove first to Dougga with a stop in Testour along the way and then on to Bulla Regia! The ruins in both locations were amazing! I had been to the Bardo museum before which worked out great cause I had more context even prior since many mosaics and the gold coins came from these locations so that was really amazing to see. The guides at both sites were fantastic and was definitely great to have as both sites are very large. My driver stopped at a place along the way and for lunch got me a local bread cooked over fire in a traditional way and inside was egg, tuna and vegetables and sauces and it was a great lunch to have later on. Highly recommend going with this tour. It couldn't have been better!

Ghassen organized two trips for us. The driver was very friendly and reliable. He shared lots of stories about the history and culture of Tunisia, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. At each site there was a local guide (included in fee), both of whom were very informative. We stopped also for a traditional Tunisian lunch (also included) which was superb, and the driver made sure to accomodate vegetarian dietary requirements. Comparing with other tour companies, Ghassen's prices were very competitive and he is a prompt communicator. Very highly recommended!

This was a wonderful way to see Bulla Regia and Dougga! I had a lovely drive and spent the time learning about Tunisian history, current politics, and just admiring the rolling scenery. The guides at the site were very knowledgeable and the value for this trip was great.

Ghassen was an amazing guide! Would give him more stars if I could. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained things clearly and in detail. He gave us great tips for our trip around Tunisia as well. Hotel pickup and drop off was seamless and Ghassen communicated the day before via WhatsApp to confirm the tour. I have nothing bad or negative to say about the tour! My brother and I (from Australia) absolutely loved this tour and would highly recommend it!
