This tour was an unforgettable journey through Scotland’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes. Callum, our guide, was a standout—deeply knowledgeable and a natural storyteller. He brought each location to life with captivating tales and folklore, making every stop feel like stepping into a legend. He knew all the best scenic spots and even offered to take photos for us, which was a lovely touch. While the tour involved a fair bit of walking, every step was worth it for the views and the experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper, more personal look at the Highlands.

This combination of sights was the perfect tour for us - we wanted to see Doune Castle, pet a Highland ‘coo’ and see Loch Lohmond. The small van was also a great way to see the lovely countryside in between stops. The drive from Glasgow to the castle was about an hour, and we enjoyed seeing the countryside - it’s a windy road so my husband sat up front to avoid getting carsick. The audio tour at the castle was great- perfect combo between historic details and fun tidbits about Monty Python’s Holy Grail movie being filmed on site. We bought our tickets at the castle as they aren’t part of the included tour price. The Highland cow stop was a bit touristy but afforded up close petting and feeding of fresh veggies for just one pound. We did a nice walk at Loch Lohmond - up and down a rather steep hill to great views and along the shore. We had fabulous weather so we’re able to take in the amazing views. The final stop at the village of Luss was also a bit touristy and a short stop to wander about - we checked out the church graveyard which had some cool gravestones. The drive back did encounter traffic but allowed us to take a little snooze. Our tour guide Allsa was very sweet and shared a bit of information with us here and there, but mostly we chatted and she got us safely between the various stops and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We really enjoyed the excursion into the Scottish countryside!
