Departure from Los Cancajos or wherever you indicate, including the Airport, to the La Concepción Viewpoint, from there we take the La Cumbre Highway to the La Caldera de Taburiente Visitor Center, passing through the La Cumbre Viewpoint. From the visitor center we continue our excursion to La Cumbrecita where if it is a clear day we can see the imposing Caldera de Taburiente. Then we will go to El Paso and continue towards Los Llanos de Aridane and Tazacorte to continue towards the Puerto de Tazacorte, once there we return through the El Pilar Refuge stopping at the Mirador del Jable and returning to the starting point.

5.00We had a rich 4 plus hour “downtown” tour of gorgeous LaPalma with Jose. We visited viewpoints, the tranquil National Park (La Cumbrecita) with the pristine pine forests, the new volcanic lava fields, the beach town of Tazacorte, and visited LasNieves. Jose was a great guide, and we learned a lot in this excellent tour. Highly recommended!!

5.00Three friends did this route with José Antonio. And the experience was so good that we repeated it with another route. It is a luxury to find a person like that. Professional, friendly, polite, car impeccable and drives wonderfully. It was also very fun and we took away incredible memories. Because of how beautiful the island is and how well everything turned out. He also came to our help to take us to the airport when the bus took longer than expected. I would recommend it 100%. It was the difference between good and perfect!! Thank you Jose Antonio on behalf of Arantxa, Josefina and Marian.

5.00Superb tour, worth every euro. We were flying from Tenerife and Jose Antonio was waiting for us at La Palma airport. After the tour he escorted us to the airport, right on time for our flight back to Tenerife. La Palma is very beautiful island. We saw the new volcano and lava fields. We had a time to walk in the Caldera de Taburiente, stunning area, very green. I think that there is no place like that on other Canary islands. We also do some small sightseeing in Puerto de Tazacorte and Santa Cruz.
Excursion by Taxi. Perfect!

5.00The route we did was beautiful, like the island! We were fortunate to have José Antonio as a driver, kind, professional man, and lover of his island. A pleasant and fun route, where Jose Antonio was the best of the guides. We learned, appreciated and knew a lot about the history of La Palma. Excellent, without more!
A great Way to Experience La Palma

5.00My wife and I were looking to get the most out of our single day port-of-call on the island of La Palma. We chose to take our chances on a private taxi tour strangely named the "Downtown Route" We still don't know what that name implies, but it turned out to be an outstanding tour of this Canary Island. Our driver did not speak very good English, but that was fine. He was able to explain just enough so we understood where he was taking us and he took us to some fabulous places. We visited beautiful beaches in some isolated spots, we visited a lovely National Park high in the mountains, we stopped at great overlooks but , to us, the highlight of the tour was our visit to an almost brand-new (two years old) volcano.We were unhurried wherever the tour took us. In short, this turned out to be an outstanding way to get the most out of our relatively short time on this beautiful island. We highly recommend the "Downtown Route."
