Peles Castle
Peleș Castle is a neo-Renaissance architectural masterpiece located in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania, near the town of Sinaia. Built between 1873 and 1914, it was commissioned by King Carol I of Romania as a summer residence. The castle is renowned for its picturesque setting amidst lush forests and its intricate design, blending Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance styles with German influences. Peleș Castle has over 160 rooms, each decorated with lavish details, such as wood carvings, stained glass windows, and rich tapestries. Its interior features a mix of European and Oriental themes, showcasing valuable art collections, furniture, and weaponry from various parts of the world. The grand staircase, the Hall of Honor, and the library with secret doors are among the highlights. Surrounded by well-kept gardens, the castle offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is regarded as one of the most beautiful castles in Europe.
Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)
Bran Castle, often referred to as "Dracula's Castle," is a historic fortress located in Romania, near the town of Bran, on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. The castle is perched atop a rocky hill and surrounded by thick forests, giving it a dramatic and imposing appearance. Built in the 14th century, the castle served as a strategic defense point against invading forces, including the Ottoman Empire. The architecture of Bran Castle is a mix of medieval and Gothic styles, with its tall towers, narrow staircases, and labyrinth-like corridors. It has 57 rooms, including a secret passage that adds to its mysterious aura. Despite its popular association with Bram Stoker's fictional Dracula, there is no evidence that Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure who inspired the character, ever lived there.

1.00The departure was scheduled for 7, we arrived at the place of departure at 6:35 am given the wide advance we went to have a coffee at 50 meters x go back to the place at 6:50 am, the tout operator of the English Spanish group confirmed that the Italian tour operator had already left. We called from 6:53 the tour operator who refused all calls, the 'bus left early leaving us without the possibility of using the Service that we prepaid € 56 not to do the tour.

Peles Castle was our first stop, and Alin provided a fascinating introduction to the history of Romania's royal family. At Bran Castle, Alin expertly blended myth and reality, offering a well-rounded perspective on the Dracula legends. He debunked many of the popular myths while still making the history of the castle incredibly interesting. The castle itself is impressive, but Alin's commentary added an extra layer of depth to the visit. The tour concluded in Brasov, a charming medieval city. Alin guided us through the city's key landmarks, including the Black Church and Council Square, sharing insightful stories about the local history and culture. His knowledge of Brasov was remarkable, and his recommendations for places to eat and shop were spot-on. 5.00Our tour through the Romanian countryside towards Transylvania was amazing. Our tour guide Serban Riga was a friendly and knowledgeable guide throughout the trip. He told us the history and the cultural facts along the way. The Bran Castle was a sight to see. We spent the afternoon in The quaint town of Brasov having lunch and shopping. The Peles Castle was so very beautiful both inside and out. It was a long travel day, but worth every minute. It was fun spending the day with Serban on out trip and he returned us safely to our hotel. I highly recommend this trip.

4.00We had an interesting 12 hour private tour. Positives - our guide was great at getting us past the lines and telling us about the highlights of the area. We covered a lot of ground in a short period of time. He was a good story teller for sure. Negatives - the company could have provided a more spacious car for such a long tour. It would have been nice to have a lunch stop at a traditional place, even if fast. We just picked up a bite to eat here and there. Also water in the car would have been a nice touch.

5.00I went with my wife on a trip to Transylvania to visit the Bran Castle, and we had the most beautiful experience with our guide Alin. We learned the history of both castles as well as the legends of the places. The walking tour in Brasov was like a dream, it's like you're living in the past and you've arrived in another place but you're still in Romania. It is a tour that is worth doing when you have a little time in Romania.

5.00Me and my girlfriend we started to visit Romania again and we went to the most beautiful castle. Peles castle is the most beautiful castle you can imagine and is looking like a fairytale castle. Our guide explained very good about all the rooms and the history of the place. Second Castle is famous from the Dracula movie but still impressive and has a medieval vibe. Our guide explained how became famous Bran Castle and its history. Our last stop in Brasov city was fascinating to see German architecture from the German saxons colony that was in Transilvania. Is a must to do if you are in Romania Our tour guide was very knowledgeable . Thank you Aleen for a beautiful experience

I arrived in Brasov where we had a walking tour and experienced the magic of the city. The guide recommended a restaurant with a Romanian specialty and the food was sensational.
