THIS TOUR IS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TOURS! I focus on food and drinks. The main focus is drinking at each spot while we eat some great food. I provide 5 hour tours. I will be taking you around the neighborhoods that have the best food in Seoul, HANDS DOWN! There are tiny alleys that even locals don't know about! I have taken many people around here including my native Korean friends and they will agree that it is the best of the best! Just make sure to bring a huge appetite as we will be trying a ton of dishes!
I do not take you to places that you will be able to find on google or are commercialized. I take you to places you would typically not be able to go to on your own.
If you have dietary restrictions, please don't book or contact me first. There aren't many non-meat options.
The food and drinks are NOT included in the price of the tour. Everything is cheap and you will split the cost with the other people in the group. It gives you more flexibility.
This tour is NOT for kids.

The food and drinks are not included in the price of the tour. The food is fairly cheap and is split amongst the people in the group.

5.00Mike is an excellent guide. He provides a good overview of some of the local food and drinks. He has a good background exploring the local food scene around South Korea with the understanding of taste bud differences between locals and foreigners. I definitely recommend attending early because he can provide some excellent recommendations during your travels that suite your itenerary.

5.00Mike was GREAT! Definitely a unique, off-the-beaten path kind of food tour, and I can't speak highly enough of this tour. We (low-to-mid 30s couple) have been on plenty of food tours around the world, and this is by far our favorite so far. Mike prioritized taking us to delicious and classic food- not just the touristy or convenient spots. He's apparently sampled every single stall in the Gwangjang market and can tell you the pros/cons of each stall's food. After Gwangjang, he took us down some alleys to an amazing maekgoli place and a super hidden, locals-only type of restaurant where he guided us through basically a full meal of authentic and delicious food. We then finished at a rooftop with some classic pub-style food. There is absolutely zero chance any foreigner could find their way to any of these exact places; we didn't see a single other tourist anywhere after the Gwangjang market! Throughout the whole tour, he really gave us the final say as to the speed and amount of food during the tour. His passion and charisma really shine through. After the tour, we reached out and he gave us a bunch of Seoul and Busan recommendations spanning food, beer, and skincare. Come hungry and thirsty!

5.00Mike was an amazing host. The walking isn't too much for an older guy like me. Mike is very passionate about the food he recommends you try. Portions are not too much - you won't be uncomfortable. You can take a bite and leave the rest if you want. Mike knows every stall, every tent, every vendor in the market and has literally tried all their food and compared and contrasted and as a result we get to sample the best. He has a wide ranging historical knowledge of Seoul and the city's food scene. I cannot recommend this tour enough.
