What To Expect
La corniche
The Corniche Kennedy, officially known as the Corniche du Président-John-Fitzgerald-Kennedy, is an iconic boulevard in Marseille that stretches for approximately 3.7 km along the Mediterranean Sea. This picturesque path, which connects the Plage des Catalans to the Plages du Prado, is not only a popular tourist route, but also a popular walking spot for Marseille residents and visitors. History and Development Work on the Corniche began in 1848 and was completed in 1863, transforming a simple customs path into an urban promenade. The road was named in honor of John F. Kennedy after his assassination in 1963. The Corniche is famous for its long concrete bench, considered the longest in the world, which stretches for nearly 3 km.
La Calanque de Figuerolles
The Calanque de Figuerolles, located near La Ciotat, is an enchanting natural site, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and turquoise waters. Nestled between puddingstone cliffs, it offers a small pebble beach, ideal for swimming and diving. Its name, derived from the Provençal meaning "fig tree garden", recalls the vegetation that once surrounded it. Accessible by a path of 87 steps, the cove is very popular during the summer, attracting many visitors eager to enjoy its idyllic setting. Activities such as scuba diving are particularly popular, especially to explore the seabed rich in biodiversity. The Calanque de Figuerolles has also inspired many artists, including the painter Georges Braque, because of its vibrant colors and unique atmosphere. In addition to its natural attractions, the cove is home to a restaurant, Chez Tania, which offers a breathtaking view of the landscape

5.00We had the most wonderful time doing this tour. Denis is amazing, he has everything thought through from picture spots, gelato, coffee places, driving around, parking, honestly everything. W he picked us from the cruise and got us back safely on time. One of the must do tours, don’t worry about the cost it’s worth it.

5.00Best tour ever! Denis and Antoni are the greatest friends and tour guides. They are very organized, safe driver, excellent communicators and down right the funniest people you will ever meet! My husband and I rank this a top tour experience! They even take photos and videos throughout, make food stops and there was a free time stop for shopping and fun! 5.00This was hands down the highlight of our Mediterranean vacation. We arrived via cruise ship and they were there with two cars to meet us. They were in the lead VW Bug and we followed behind in another cute Bug. They took us to multiple scenic spots and took SO many pics and videos of us that are so priceless! They were a delightful father-daughter team and Cassis was more than we could have asked for! We hit a market and had a memorable and delicious water view lunch before they met us for the return drive. The French countryside scenery and ocean views were spectacular. Highly recommend this excursion. You will NOT regret it!

5.00What a wonderful experience. From pre-tour communication throughout the tour Denis was a professional who thoroughly enjoys his work. He was very considerate to our needs and showed us many highlights as well as hidden gems. We stopped for many photo ops. Denis is quite the photographer and we ended the trip with some great pics and a video! His energy is limitless tho as I said he was very considerate of our needs. Bridget our VW Beetle handled the switchbacks like a race car! A definite your to see the national park and the seaport of Marseilles.

5.00The tour was very unique. We were driving a very nice convertible Volkswagon. Our tour guide, Denis, was in a separate vehicle leading us to the various sites. Denis was an excellent guide that was very positive, happy, and courteous. We drove through the sites in and around Marsielle and sites 1 to 2 hours outside of Marsielle. Denis took many pictures and videos of our group and later shared them with us. We visited around 10 cities across Europe, and this tour was the most unique and fun of all our tours. I highly recommend you take this tour if visiting Marsielle.
