Dress code: You may wear casual clothing such as light tops and shorts with open shoes, sports shoes, or sandals for the desert safari. However, it is advisable to wear sports shoes for safety when sand boarding. If you are not planning on sand boarding, we recommend that you wear sandals/open shoes to allow you to enjoy the soft desert sands underfoot

Quad biking is a self-driving activity to be taken at your own risk and the company’s insurance does not cover it.
Due to heavy traffic in the Rove Marina and Wyndham Dubai Marina areas at the time of pick-up, we request that you come to the Stella Di Mare Hotel for an easy pickup within a few minutes' walking distances.
Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.

What To Expect
Your Dubai desert safari starts when you are picked up from hotel or select location by our guide in the morning. Get seated in the 4x4 Land Cruiser to enjoy a thrilling ride to the desert. Your guide will tell you about the history and facts of the region along the ride. Once at the desert, the Land Cruiser will take you deep in to the desert for 30-40 minutes dune bashing drive. Gaze out at the golden sands that are being thrashed all over and feel like being in a roller coaster! The next highlight program is sandboarding. This activity doesn’t require any experience in prior. You just follow the instructions of the guide. Your excitement will be high as you slide over dunes after dunes. Once you are done with the activities, you will then be taken to a typical Arabian desert camp for some much needed refreshments. Here, be welcomed with Arabic coffee, (gahwa, gaymat). Then, it is time for a camel ride on the desert. As you ride on the camel, admire the vast landscapes and feel the allure of the desert. Once you are done with the ride, return to the camp and re-energize yourself with a brunch (light meal). Once you are finished with your tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.

5.00We had such a fun time on this activity. Our driver Nadeem Ghaffar, picked us up on time and messaged us when he was at our hotel. He then took us to go sand boarding, a camel ride and then driving in the desert. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide and experience.

5.00Communication was very prompt and clear from the travel company and our event host from beginning to end. Pickup was timely from our hotel and the ride was clean and comfortable with our friendly host, Wajahat. Once we arrived to the destination, there were little shops to purchase additional beverages and snacks, head scarves and accessories to enhance the experience and other souvenirs and custom jewelry. Because our youngest son is too young for the ATV we had to upgrade to the four seater dune buggy but it was well worth it and more fun to travel all in one vehicle as a family with young children. They took a professional photo and it is very beautiful keepsake as this experience was a lot of fun and a very special adventure for our family. After riding in the desert for a bit, the driver we were following through the dunes stopped to take several photos of us with our own cell phone, which turned out great. Next, we settled back at the camp area and gathered with others in our group to take a ride out in the car to where the camels were resting. We rode the camels for a short duration but it was nonetheless a very unique and emotional experience for us- once again, they took several wonderful photos of us on the camels. After the camel rides, we did the dune bashing, which my two young boys and husband enjoyed very much but unfortunately, it was too much for my sensitive stomach. I became extremely motion sick and had to be driven back separately to see the nurse. Due to the dizziness, nausea and dehydration, my blood pressure dropped so the nurse gave me ice for my neck and salt water to drink and within 30 minutes, my vitals were back to normal and I felt well enough to complete our day and drive back to the hotel. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kind nature towards our children and their gentle and attentive care and attention towards me when I was feeling very ill. I would highly recommend this experience for anybody visiting Dubai.
