As the sun sets, the Al-Khayma Camp awaits you with a delicious BBQ and other fun-filled activities and when the stars light up the sky, be ready for an amazing star gazing session.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.
The quad biking segment is solely the participant's responsibility. Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the quad tour are not covered by insurance
All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.
Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter
Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Star Gazing & Fire show since it's during the day timing
Pickup will be within 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.
Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.
During the holy month of Ramadan you can watch only Fire shows in our desert camps
Everything listed in the Inclusions is part of the tour and is covered in the price. Quad biking is available if the option is selected.
Camel Ride: Children below 12 years of age cannot ride alone and must be accompanied by an adult.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept that some activities involve inherent risks and unforeseen incidents, and adequate travel and health insurance is strongly recommended for your safety and financial protection. Recommended Age for Self-Driving Activities: Sandboarding: 12-50 years, Quad Biking: 16–50 years. Animal-related activities (company not responsible for uncontrollable natural behaviour of animals): Camel Ride (Recommended age: 12–50 years) Falcon, Horse Riding.
Helmets & safety gear are highly recommended where applicable, and participation is entirely at your own risk, the company will not be responsible for any accidents, damage, loss, or death from these activities.
By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity. (If these conditions apply to you, you can wait at the meeting point until others complete the adventure activities.)

What To Expect
Pick Up Listen to miraculous humble beginnings of the land of dreams, Dubai, from our friendly safari captains who shall pick you up and keep you entertained for the 60 minutes’ drive in a 4x4 Vehicle across the deserts. Quad Bike Ride (Optional) Welcome to your first stop. Take your time here to relax and prepare yourself for the adventures ahead. The place provides good facilities for fresh-ups and if interested, you may avail the Quad Bike Ride option to zeal up your desert experience. Dune Bashing Pump up your excitement as you bash into the golden dunes of the Lahbab desert and be ready to kick up the dust as you go sand surfing here.
Feel like royalty as you enter the Al-Khyama camp where you shall be greeted with the traditional Qahwa (Arabic Coffee), Gaymat (Exotic sweets), Dates and unlimited soft drinks. The camel ride and posing with the falcon after the falconry session is a sure catch on this trip. Get dressed up in the ethnic Arabian clothes-kandura (men’s clothing), and abaya (Women’s clothing) and spend the evening as an Arab smoking shisha and having an Arabian Makeover with henna painting. Camp Entertainments This attraction guarantees a feast to your eyes and tummies. Open up to a night of entertainment beginning with the Traditional Yola dance, Falconry show & Mega fire show with a simultaneous 5-star open buffet, BBQ and other local desserts. 4.00The desert safari was amazing and very fun, truly a great experience to enjoy and remember. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the activities made it exciting and entertaining. Our guide Dilshad was very kind, punctual, and professional, always attentive and making sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. The food was delicious, and the overall experience was wonderful, from the desert adventure to the camp atmosphere and entertainment. As a gentle recommendation for improvement, the interior of the vehicle had a strong smell, and improving this small detail would make the experience even better. Overall, we highly recommend this desert excursion to anyone visiting Dubai and looking for a memorable and enjoyable adventure 🇦🇪✨

5.00Fab day and evening. Our guide Mr G was brilliant. Day started with the quad bike adventure and the bikes were good not like some places you hire from. From there onto the dune bashing . We were wth 2 other couples who we met as strangers , left as friends and all had a good laugh together. Mt G took time to take some excellent individual photos of each couple, made us laugh as well for sure. From the dunes we headed for the camp The only negative was the traffic to get there but no fault of our driver or company . Once at camp it's a great set up , from welcome tea , soft drinks and then the food is so plentiful and delicious, so much to choose from and desserts too. After the entertainment we headed for the short camel ride which was enough to be honest. Everyone at the camp are really nice and friendly, all in all , it's well worth the money and a good reputable company , even our hotel valet said they were. Can highly recommend this trip !

5.00If you do just 1 thing whilst in Dubai, make it this trip! It was terrific! It was a fun-filled 7 hours of activities, eating and relaxation. There was something for everyone at this desert experience. Tahseen wasn't only our driver, he was with us the entire day and couldn't have done more to ensure we had the best day from start to finish. This man loves his job and looks to make sure that all in his care are lookef after to a very high standard! The day itself was great! From hotel pick up to dune bashing, camel riding, delicious and varied buffet and a show to finish - it was a super experience! There were little extras too like henna painting, handling a falcon, feeding camels and star gazing too! It really is worth doing, especially when you have great staff there, like Tahseen, to meet your every need and make sure you give a wonderful time.
