  Good exercise, lovely views, and learned a bit about Irish culture. We had good weather (sun was even shining), so that was a bonus. I was traveling by myself, and this group excursion worked out well. Very glad I signed up for it. Leonie (our guide) did a terrific job! I did wish that it had started earlier in the day so that it could be a morning (eg, 10-1) or afternoon (eg, 1-4) activity, rather than midday activity.

  Fantastic hike with great views! Zack was an amazing tour guide that immediately learned everyone’s names and talked with everyone during the hike to learn a little bit about each of us. He also checked in with us multiple times during the hike to make sure we were doing ok throughout the hike, & shared history of the area during the hike.

  It was an amazing time and experience hiking with our guide Zach! Due to weather at the time the others had cancelled and we almost did too but thankfully we didn’t. It turned out to be perfect, when we got to the top and was overlooking Howth the view was incredible. During the hike there was still parts were it raining and windy but Zach had every route memorized to make sure we had the cover that we needed. It was all worth the price that we paid too. Overall it was about a 8km hike and not only was the view from the top incredible but also the cliffs and the rare beautiful flowers the were starting the bloom was awesome to see! Zach is also very knowledgeable about the area that we hiked. 10/10🙌🏼

  We had a great time hiking with Zack and Loki, despite a fine Irish rain that joined us for the day. They met us in town with a smile and lots of energy. Zack weaved through tales of Irish history as we traversed through the fields and woods of the Howth peninsula. Loki reveled in the opportunity to be outside, often stopping voluntarily to pose for a photo with us. We highly recommend both Zack and Loki for this adventure, which ended with us enjoying a much needed hot lunch in front of the fireplace at the Abby Tavern. The clouds dampened our views, but not the fun we had on the hike!

  I had a fantastic afternoon with Zach and Loki of Howth Adventures! We covered a lot of ground, from the harbor, St. Mary’s, through the village, and up into the hills to the highest point with the most stunning views! Then a quick pitstop at the Summit Pub and on to the Cliff Walk, winding up at King Sitric Seafood Bar for a pint and some Dublin Bay prawns (not includrd)! Zach told stories of Howth history along the way and even recited from H.G. Wells description of the most beautiful view in the world at the summit. Highly recommend Howth Adventures and will definitely bring friends and try more of their tours.

  My husband and I took the 3 hour coastal hike today with Shane and Loki🐾 IT. WAS. BEYOND. AMAZING. With Shane and Loki as our guides, we were immediately immersed in the local history, culture, and community. Shane was expert level knowledgeable, sharing from his own personal experiences and relationships. What’s more, he genuinely cared for his neighbors and community, which was clearly evident by our interactions with the locals. Their kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten. What a lovely place and what lovely people. The breathtaking views, charming markets, cozy restaurants are enough to encourage anyone to travel to Howth. On top of that, our tour greatly heightened our interest and understanding in Howth’s role in Irish history, religion, music, culture, folklore, ecology, economy, and ways of living. It felt like home. ❤️ Huge plus is that it seemed very dog friendly for those who would be interested—if you are, you’re my kind of people and you’ll love this. 1000/10 would recommend. I feel like we got more than a tour/hike. We got a glimpse of local life and I’m so grateful for the experience and opportunity. Many thanks to Howth Adventures. Book your trip. • Hike to remember!

  We started at a lovely market, which gave us time to peruse before the hike. Our guide, Leoni, was super accommodating and insightful. The hike was a little over 3 hours and full of information and absolutely stunning sights; rained lightly on and off but nothing a good rain jacket couldn't handle. She stopped several times for a breather and photos; I highly recommend. Can't stress having solid shoes enough. She also sent everyone photos that she took along the way. 10/10, would absolutely do again.
