  • Take The Tour and Ask For Noel

My wife and I visited Dublin for the first time recently. Noel Quinn was our tour guide, and he was incredible at every turn! Noel is a life long Dubliner who loves his city and is an expert on its culture and history. We learned about the world debut of Handel’s Messiah (we had no idea it was in Dublin), ate traditional Irish foods as a local restaurant, had Irish Stew at another pub, went to one of the oldest pubs in the country, visited the palace, heard about how Dublin got named, and learned about the history of the Jameson Distillery. During each stage of our trip, Noel regaled us with tales of Dublin’s history, from the spot Vikings moored their ships to the story of Molly Malone, the histories of various pubs, and Dublin’s part in the 1922 Revolution that won the country its independence. Noel’s grandfather played a special part in that event, and we saw multiple spots where things happened. Noel is personable, humorous, is an expert story teller, and has the perfect personality for this. Our route was well planned, entertaining, and we learned so much! Thank you, Noel, for such a wonderful experience!

Our guide Noel was great. We booked the tour since it was our first day in town and we wanted to see the city. Noel was amazing. He was full of history and spent a good amount of time on the history of Dublin along with talking about the food and drinks. I am traveling with my college aged daughter and he made everything relevant for both of us. Would highly recommend doing a tour with Noel!

  • Thanks to Noel Quinn for a nice tour in Dublin

My daughter and I took part in this tour during my short stay in Dublin last weekend. Our Tour Guide Noel Quinn is very kind and enthusiastic. He told us a lot about the history of Dublin and Irland while we went to different sights and enjoyed Irish specialities. We learned so much and had a delightful time. We really appreciate it and many thanks to Noel.

This was truly one of the best viator experiences! We saw so much of Dublin with an amazing guide! He was so personal, knowledgeable and fun! We felt like we spent an afternoon with an old friend. Plus, we were able to experience tasty treats and drink and an amazing history class at the same time! I would definitely put this on the first day or two of your itinerary! If you have a choice- request Noel!

We had 3 in our party and were lucky enough to have the tour guide (Martin Drew) to ourselves. We started and finished on time and Martin ensured that we were well fed and watered both physically and mentally with a fantastic insight into the history of the Liberties area of Dublin.

Such a super visit through the streets of Dublin today! With Fergus as our guide, we visited a wonderful street cafe, two famous pubs, and the Jamison Distillery. Along the way, we were treated to the sights and history of castles, churches, concert halls, and Vikings -- all from the experience and education of an extraordinarily prepared guide. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in sampling the foods and hearing about the history of the city of Dublin. This is a can't miss experience!

So much fun. I loved the history aspect. Martin asked us what we wanted to know about Ireland and we said “history/music” and he tailored the tour to lean into that. We loved it.
