Next on the tour is the visit to an area of Belfast City known as the Shankill. Loyalist paramilitary groups pledging allegiance to the British monarchy and to maintaining the partitioned 6 counties of Ireland known as Northern Ireland within the United Kingdom. Similar to the Falls area the Shankill is adorned with huge murals celebrating historical events, honouring people from the past some of whom from the local community. At all stops during the, in total, 90 minute tour our guests have ample opportunity to capture amazing images of the world’s largest outdoor art gallery. This was by far my favorite tour that we went on in Ireland. The sightseeing and information provided were outstanding. Una did an amazing job. We went on the black cab tour and it was so moving. This is a MUST do when in Ireland.

Our group was in ahhh of natures beautiful creation at the Giant Causeway. We decided to do the Black taxi tour in Belfast to learn alittle more about the city and that was heart wrenching , but a piece of important history.

We had an amazing tour with Kevin and our driver, Krishna. The Belfast Black Taxi tour was amazing. We had a first hand account of growing up in Dublin from Pat the Hat our amazing taxi driver. We braved 50 mph wind gusts at Dunluce Castle. It was worth it for the spectacular views. We finished the day hiking Giant’s Causeway. Simply amazing place!

This was the perfect day tour from Dublin! It was a great mix of history (ancient and modern) and nature. Highlights included the cab ride -- the drivers are men who have lived "The Troubles" and give very personal insight into what it was like to be a child or adolescent during that time. It certainly gave me a new appreciation for this part of history, and helps me to better understand Irish/North Irish experiences.

This tour was wonderful. Yes, there was a lot of time spent on the bus, but the guide David, filled much of the downtime with historical stories regarding Belfast and the “troubles,” and even some music. He was great! They also strategically placed breaks for bathrooms and snacks into the bus rides. The black taxi tour was unbelievable, as we were guided by a man named Liam who was 13 and living in Belfast when the troubles began. He brought us to key areas to point out where situations may have occurred, including the peace wall that still exists, and so many murals. He educated us very thoughtfully and authentically, as only someone who had grown up within it could do. I have to add that Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway were equally fantastic! On this late December day, we were blessed with wonderful sunny weather. Don’t hesitate to not take this tour because of the long bus ride; it was well worth the time and the money!

My daughter and I went on the tour to Giant's Causeway and it was a memorable experience for many reasons. The tour guide on the bus, Una, was fabulous with her knowledge, memories and humor. The guide in Belfast, Kevin, explained the history of the town and the issues around the politics and history in a way that illumined everything for us! Bravo! Ginny 2025

We had very little knowledge of the history of Ireland and the conflict between Catholic and Protestant. This tour provided a very good overview. The Giants Causeway was amazing.

This was such a truly exceptional experience! We did the black cab tour in Belfast (the other option was the Titanic Museum), and I'm so glad we did. We learned so much about the Troubles from someone close to them. Dunluce Castle was wonderful and picturesque, and Giant's Causeway was one of my favorite places on our trip! Our guide and driver were both awesome, and we learned a ton on the way there and back. I get motion sickness, so I noted that at time of booking and got one of the seats set out specifically for those with motion sickness. As such, I really wasn't affected (although I also had some Dramamine on-board). Clean, well-working bus.
