I was so glad I picked this private tour instead of one of the cruise ship's excursions! Lucy was a great tour guide who took us to all the great places in the area and taught us a lot along the way. She clearly wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience. She even returned us to the cruise ship later than expected so we could spend extra time at some of the locations (still in plenty of time for departure). She was patient, kind, and helpful. And the things we got to see were amazing!

This was a fun way of spending a day in Dunedin. Highlights were the seals basking in the sun on the beach, amazing scenery and Larnach Castle.

This was an all day tour with our guide Lucy. There were 6 of us in her very comfortable van. We started our tour with pick up at our cruise port and a drive through Dunedin’s Central Business District which was interesting and allowed us to see some beautiful views along the way. We then headed to Smaills Beach, where we got to see several seal lions just lying on the beach. We were asked to get no closer than 30 feet but it was amazing. We left the beach and spent some time at Larnach Castle. This was also very nice and the grounds were beautiful. We were supposed to go to the Albatross Center but the group decided to go back to the ship as there was supposed to be an anti cruising protest at the port and Lucy was afraid of getting stuck in traffic behind it. Lucy did a great job and gave us a lot of good information about the area and was very accommodating in changing our schedule when we decided to get ahead of the protest. It was a great day.

We had a wonderful day with Lucy. We saw sights in the city and along the coasts. We had opportunities to see seals on the beach and in a protected reserve. We were a small group and she stopped often to let us take pictures.

A small group tour with a variety of stops from viewpoints, city walk, architecture to close encounters with wildlife (marine mammals). Lucy our guide was knowledgeable, accommodating and an enjoyable person with whom to spend the day.
