Racheal was on time and got us to port chalmers expeditiously. She was a great host, gave us facts on the trip over and handled the boat professionally. Well worth the trip.

Crossing by ferry to the other side of the harbour is such a lovely experience. The much longer road journey is beautiful because it provides a more extensive view of the lovely harbour but crossing by ferry is so much more exciting, whatever the weather. Even though I have done the crossing many times, I never tire of hearing Rachel's accounts of the history, geography - and wild life of the harbour. She is always engaging, very helpful and so very impressively strong!

  • Excellent wildlife cruise. Great way to see the harbour as well.

Really good trip around the harbour and out to Taroira headland. Rachel was knowledgeable on all the wildlife and made sure to point out all the things that we saw. She told us loads about the harbour and its history and working too. Loved the printed sheet with all the things we saw. Everything needed was provided. Easy to book, find the meet point and park.

A must do if visiting Dunedin, its the best way to explore the peninsula via Rachel's ferry. Rachel's has lots of local historical and wildlife knowledge. I used the ferry to cycle the loop and added on Pory Chalmers to Aramanoa where I saw a very proud Sealion with her pup.

Great service from Port Chalmers to Quarantine island. Rachel was friendly, informative, a safe and competent boat operator and she coped with our large and slightly shambolic group. Highly recommend this service!!

Rachel is superwoman! So impressive how she loaded around 11 ebikes single handedly. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lovely day out cycling along the coast line. We found it easiest to call to arrange our booking and checking the taxi times for that day. The person on the phone was helpful and patient as we worked out what was best to do.
