A Whale Watching tour with Naturaliste Charters provides visitors with the opportunity to view Humpback Whales, Southern Right Whales, and the rare Blue Whales on their northern and southern migration's.

If no whales are sighted during your tour, you will receive a free return tour to try again. This return tour is offered at no additional cost and can be booked for another day within one year (subject to availability & non-transferable).

Naturaliste Charters are the longest running whale watching company in the Southwest and have been operating professional whale watching tours out of the Margaret River Region for more than 30 years. Dunsborough operates from August to November and Augusta season operates from late May until August. A unique six month Cape to Cape season of the northern and southern migrations. No holiday to the South West of WA would be complete without taking the time to view and photograph the abundant marine and ocean life that thrives along this magnificent coastline. As you watch these majestic creatures breach and frolic, we guarantee you’ll be mesmerised by their agility. Marine life you might encounter during your whale watching tour include: Humpback Whales New Zealand Fur Seals Bottlenose & Common Dolphins Sea Birds On rare occasions we may sight Blue & Minke Whales Our crew are all trained in marine science and provide expert commentary. Guests can enjoy complimentary morning or afternoon tea, including coffee, tea, milo, green tea and biscuits.

    We saw several mother and calves up close, only ten metres from the boat! The male whales were also around. There were about 20 or so whales in the area, from a distance you could see breaching and blowing. It was a wonderful experience.

    Excellent afternoon out whale watching. The staff were great, the boat was spacious and clean and we saw whales ! I would highly recommend this tour company and if we were ever back in the area, We would definitely do it again. Absolutely loved it.
