  We had an excellent guided visit to the Duomo in Milan. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating details that truly brought the cathedral to life. She got us in quickly, skipping the very long lines, and walked us through the Duomo in a fast, efficient, and well-organized way — without ever making it feel rushed. The tour ended with access to the Duomo rooftop, which was absolutely unforgettable. Seeing the sculptures up close was so special, and the view from the top is simply breathtaking.   They are visible and you can locate them easily outside the cathedral. Very friendly! I loved that the audio was not prerecorded. It was an actual guide. I liked that I could go have lunch and come back to the museum and take my time. I wish they had a book about the museum. I would like something to reference all my pics too.

• Quick Tour Of Duomo + Rooftop Access

  It was a 45-minute guided tour inside of the Duomo, and then you had the ability to stay inside as long as you liked afterwards. Additionally, if you bought the ticket for rooftop access, you could explore that as well on your own. I gave this a 3-star rating only because it was difficult to hear the tour guide. We used radios as we were a larger group, and the guide didn't want to speak too loudly inside the cathedral, but the quality of the radio connection was poor so I didn't hear most of the tour. I tried my best to stand next to the guide to hear her directly without the radio earpiece. It was either my headphone connection or perhaps on the guide's end of being static-y with the microphone. I booked this as a last-minute tour on my last day in Milan, and I'm glad I got a bit of a history lesson on the Duomo and being able to go inside, but it wasn't the best tour experience I've had with Viator.

  Short tour of Duomo that gives you just the basics. You’re then left to explore the Duomo and travel up to the roof on your own. Very good value, just don’t expect in-depth detail.

  Our tour guide was very good and very knowledgeable. The Duomo is absolutely stunning. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it was very hard to find the meeting place. The company called us a couple of times to see where we were at, but had to call them back to get better meeting point instructions.

  This was an in-depth and concise tour - just the right amount of time to learn the history before the chance to explore on our own. Our guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable.

• DISSAPOINTING that rooftop access was NOT INCLUDED as the title of tour stated

  The title on the Tour states “Guided cathedral tour AND ROOFTOP ACCESS” however in the fine print roof top access is not included in all tours. VERY DISAPPOINTING that we could not go up top on the beautiful sunny day because it was sold out. We were under the impression that we had rroof top access.

  Our actual tour guide was 5star. The best, very informative & kept the pace going. It was a pleasure to have her. However the tour coordinators we met outside were aweful. Not on time, no communication on why they were late, & I had not questioned the paper ticket (written in italian) about the timing, we would have waited an extra hour standing around. Not very acceptable. But in the end, after a "discussion with the manager" somehow we got our tour on time.
