Pretty boring - not much to see and guide told more jokes than pointing out things to see. Nothing on island to see - not sure what the point was.

This was a wonderful boat trip. The captain/narrator is very knowledgeable about Wilmington and specifically the harbor itself. It was very interesting to hear how the harbor has changed and what type of product Wilmington exports to other countries. You get to see the large container ships up close. They truly are massive. The Eagle Island boat is very comfortable and there is a bar with various refreshments and a bathroom on board. It was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend it for all couples, families, solo travelers etc.

Just for context: I was in a group of 8, (all Latinos) and we took up one whole side. On the other side there was a couple and another mom with her daughter (all white). While the ride itself was nice and smooth and informative, the man giving us the tour didn't acknowledge us. There was a a small break and he went to the opposite side and asked them how they were enjoying the tour their stay, etc... not once did he even try to make eye contact or conversate with us. Yet we spent close to $200 for the trip and were the only ones buying overpriced peanuts and chips.... That in itself made it unsatisfactory.

Nice plesent boat tour. We learned many new things about the cape fear river and the battleship. Bridge hight and river depth were 2 things that peaked my interest.

No need to book early on Viator, I did, cost me 48 bucks, would have been 40 at the dock. The crew was great, and we had a very nice time.

Captain very knowledgeable. Nice boat ride, not a lot to see on the North bound trip. Viator is a very difficult site to navigate, if I could review them they get a fail.
