I was excited about a tour where I could both learn the history of an area and get a taste of lots of food from the area. Jon was professional and knowledgeable and made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend him and CityShuffles to anyone visiting NYC!

As a New Yorker I love being reintroduced to my hometown. Especially little off the beaten path places one misses during the daily grind. Thank you so much for making a rainy day a little bit bright! All the food was delicious, you definitely leave full!

We had so much fun on the East Village/NoHo food tour with Jon! He was knowledgeable, upbeat, funny, and brought such great energy to the whole experience. We visited at least nine spots—some beloved staples that have been around for decades (even over a century)—and tasted so many delicious things. Jon’s storytelling really brought the East Village to life. As a bonus, this was the most affordable food tour we’ve ever done. Incredible value. We saved lots of the locations so we could revisit. Jon also offered to be a future resource if we ever had questions re: the city or things to do. His company - City Shuffles - offers other cool things, too. Highly recommend—thank you, Jon!

Perfect tour for a rainy day! Our second tour with Jon, we were able to explore food at historic, hole in the wall spots that we might have missed ourselves. Very affordable and transparent pricing. We loved the spontaneity of sharing an ale at the oldest ale house of New York! Highly recommend.

Jon’s East Village and NoHo food tour was one of the highlights of my trip. He promises that for just $10, you’ll be full by the end—and he absolutely delivers. The food stops were varied, tasty, and all places I would have never discovered on my own. What really made the tour special was Jon’s commentary—not just about the food, but also the neighborhoods we walked through. He added great anecdotes and local context that gave the experience much more depth. You come for the food, but leave with a better understanding of the city and its stories. Highly recommend!

This was a great food tour with Jon! We had some delicious bites at a variety of places that we never would have known about without this tour. Jon did a great job sharing some history about East Village while he led us to some of its oldest and most delicious food establishments! Thanks for a great tour today, Jon, and for a great selection of small bites!
