Worth the trip if you’re interested in unique art set in unusual landscapes, sculptor Richard Serra’s installation within the Brouq Nature Reserve comprises four steel plates, each more than 14m tall, spread out over a kilometre of the desolate western Qatari desert. Richard Serra set a new standing art of flat iron that is about 15m (49 feet) tall has been unveiled in Qatar's desert. Richard Serra's The Artist, created for Qatar by renowned American artist Richard Serra's, is called "East-West / West-East," and is located some 60km outside of Doha at the Brouq Nature Reserve near Zekreet. The massive flat span 1km from the area, and "is set in a natural corridor shaped by gypsum plateaus,"
Zekreet Beach
Zekreet fort Qatar The landscape of the Zekreet peninsula has a unique and fascinating geology. Salt flats, rocks and open desert plateau dominate this scenery. There are no sand dunes here, weird rock formations and great views over the blue waters of the gulf. The Bir-Zekreet limestone escarpment is a desert bleachy, the blustery has a seductive rocks, revealing pillars, big limestone mushroom and weird shapes as it projects from cliffs. The beach is located in the heart of the city and is close to the beach. The beach rocks with natural curves give us a concept of meticulous carving done by some great artist. Visit to the Eye Wall in the end of the tour.

5.00Shabab is a wonderful guide and driver. He showed us the Best places and is very King. Hé also takes beautiful pictured -I really recommand him. Every thing was just perfect Qatar inbound tours is excellent. I definitily recommand it. There were able to book me only a few hours before. Great!!!! We had a wonderful afternoon with Shabab:)

5.00Muhammad was an outstanding guide for the East–West / West–East tour. We visited the mushroom rocks, film city and many more. He was extremely patient, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable, not just about the artwork but also the surrounding landscape and its significance. His explanations added real depth to the experience and helped us appreciate the scale, intention, and quiet power of the site. The tour was well paced and never felt rushed. Muhammad made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged, and he took the time to answer questions clearly and respectfully. His calm and professional approach made the visit both meaningful and enjoyable. Highly recommended if you want more than just a visit, but a deeper understanding of this remarkable place.
