Adventurers will depart from Orderville in a customized off-road UTV vehicle and traverse the rugged backcountry trail to a breath taking Slot Canyon. The trail enters into a private access area, which few are privileged to experience. The ride is a thriller! You expert guide will ensure everyone's safety while guiding an unforgettable experience. And that is just the beginning of the tour! The trail will end at the mouth of a narrow, unique sandstone slot canyon with walls that tower up around you. Your guide will hike with you into the canyon and assist you over several large boulder sections that are 8-10 feet tall*, until you are ready to return to the vehicle. Within the canyon walls you will also see ancient Native American writings and learn about how these awe-inspiring canyons formed. After all of this (and plenty of pictures), we will return back to the starting point. *Please note you must be physically capable of climbing up and over 8-10ft tall boulders. This is a fairly strenuous tour. In certain months there may be standing water in the canyons. In this case, we will take an alternate route and keep our guests safe and dry! Please come prepared for cold weather.

Our guide, John, was exceptionally passionate and knowledgeable, and it showed in every part of the experience. His genuine love for what he does made the geology, rock, formations, and the history…. Both ancient and present…. Feel alive and meaningful. What we expected to be, a simple sightseeing tour turned into something profoundly moving. We found ourselves overwhelmed with all, even brought to tears, as we took in the beauty of creation and then incredible majesty of the slot canyons and surrounding landscape. This experience went far beyond what we imagined and will stay with us forever.

Our guide was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was obvious he truly loves what he does, and that passion brought the geology, rock, formations, and both the current and ancient history to life. What started as “cool rocks”quickly turned into something so much more. We were genuinely brought to tears, standing in all of our Creator and the sheer magnificence of the slot canyons and the surrounding landscape. This experience far exceeded our expectations and it’s something we will never forget.

Today my husband and I safely descended Mount Kilimanjaro, and we are truly grateful to the entire AfroEast Adventures team. From the booking process to the end of the climb, everything was smooth and well organized. One thing we truly loved was climbing together with other AfroEast Adventures clients. Being part of a group was very motivating and supportive, especially on the challenging days, and it made the whole experience even more special. Special thanks to Andrew, our Kilimanjaro Chief Guide and Managing Director of AfroEast Adventures. He advised us on the right route — the 7-day Kilimanjaro Machame Route — and showed great experience throughout the climb. His guidance and support made a big difference The climb was not easy, but with the amazing support from the guides, porters, and our cook Baba John, we reached the summit and returned safely. We highly recommend AfroEast Adventures

The UTV tour was the highlight of our Zion tour. The whole family enjoyed this fun-filled tour. John the travel guide is very friendly. Also patient and experienced. Knowing everything about Canyon, took a lot of interesting pictures of us.

What a blast! The UTV tour was an absolute adventure—we rode through the canyons and got to see Crimson Peak, which was awesome. The ride was fun, bumpy, and full of excitement the whole way through. Mitchell was super friendly and made the experience even better with his great attitude. The only thing I’d change is the group size; it felt a bit crowded at times, and having fewer people would’ve given us more room to really enjoy the ride. Overall, an unforgettable and thrilling excursion!

This experience was 100% because of John — and 100% because of the experience itself. Truly. Just look at the photos. Crimson Canyon is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The sandstone feels sculpted rather than eroded, with flowing curves, soft shadows, and light pouring in from above in ways that feel almost intentional. Walking through it feels quiet, surreal, and completely immersive — like being inside a natural cathedral shaped by time. What elevated this from “stunning” to unforgettable was John. He is fun, knowledgeable, and deeply connected to the land, but what really sets him apart is his eye. John knows exactly where to stand, when to pause, and how the light moves through the canyon. He doesn’t rush you. He lets the place speak — and then makes sure you leave with it captured perfectly. The photos we came home with are unreal. They aren’t just pictures of a place; they’re records of how it felt to be there. Every curve, every beam of light, every moment of stillness — preserved. This is one of those rare places where you don’t want to rely on luck or your phone alone. You want someone who understands the canyon, the timing, and the composition. John is that person. This is absolutely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and if you’re going to do it, do it right. The canyon is extraordinary on its own — but with John guiding you through it, the experience becomes something you’ll carry with you long after you leave. Highly recommend. No exaggeration. Just look for yourself.
