They did not pick me up. I was left alone waiting at the hotel stop on my first day in Santiago. I felt scared and alone. I never received any communication from the company.

Let’s start with the arrival — I found it very good, especially the welcome with the face tattoos. Then comes the ceremony of giving thanks for the food prepared on-site, which I found quite nice. The food in general is not of high quality. They should pay a bit more attention to it, especially the meats (chicken, pork, and beef), which need to be of better quality. In general is not bad.

A glimpse into the culture of Rapa Nui: People don’t just come here to eat — the hosts go to great lengths to share their hospitality.

Don’t bother. Pick up was over an hour late. Was told the bus would arrive between 19:00 and 19:20, after many messages and threatening to cancel, the transfer arrived at 20:21, with the communication that it was still within the pick up window. Food was average at best. Long queues for a buffet selection. Cold vegetables, couple of pieces of meat and some potatoes. The show started whilst we were still queuing and so we missed the first 2 dances at minimum. We were told we could use the QR code to order additional drinks. This QR code just opened up the menu, with no option to order. Staff weren’t walking around during the show, which made it impossible to order drinks. There was no collection of plates until the very end of the show. Even then, they managed to spill leftover soup over a member of my party when they finally cleared the plate. We also had a transfer back booked. We were one of the first to enquire after the show and they didn’t seem to be aware of our transfer. We had to wait for one bus to drop off everyone on board (all across the island) and then return. We seemed to be the only group that had to do this. This meant we waited 40 minutes after the show to start the journey back to our hotel, and I really believe this was a lot shorter than it could have been, we just kept asking and that’s the only reason we got a taxi. Absolutely NO organisation whatsoever. Honestly, average at best. Maybe something to do if you’re very bored one evening but do NOT see the hype over this one - sorry.

The show was entertaining and original. A nearby Mood was noticed where important elements of the local culture were explained in detail. Enterprise management regarding the reservation was splendid as they helped manage a mdoifscion of it at the last moment.
