We had an amazing experience with Richard and Phil as our guides. Zoe as well helped us get off to a wonderful start. Richard was very informative in the van on the way up teaching us things about the flora and fauna as well as the change in the temperature and how that affects the pan growth as you get closer to the summit, the plants get shorter and shorter, and extremely close to the ground at the summit. We also learned about the gigantic glacial rocks that were left behind. On the way down through the rainforest, we got to see a beautiful Waterfall gigantic silver ferns and learned about the pipeline that feeds Hobart. It’s water. All in all it was a wonderful day and I would recommend it to anyone. We were lucky enough to get beautiful weather with very few clouds so we had wonderful visions of the lands all around.
