Had a class today with Ildi. She was great!!! She met us at the Central Market and walked us through and showed us traditional Hungarian foods and products. It was very interesting. She then took us to the kitchen where we would cook and enjoy great conversation. We learned about the upcoming election. She had many things for us to taste. Different sausages, salami, cheeses etc. We loved the tarragon soup we made. We also made an appetizer, chicken paprika and a traditional dessert. We actually had the same dessert on our Viking cruise tonight and the version we made with Ildi was better. Not to mention shots, wine and beer. You won’t leave hungry. Great class. Loads of fun. Ildi is friendly and engaging.

Very aggressive marketing policy. We consider this an unethical and intrusive business practice, as they keep sending unsolicited marketing emails to our company address. Not recommended.

Best experience!! Highly recommended. Ildy was FABULOUS!! The experience was intimate and personal. The market tour was so informative. The meal was 4 course and so authentic and tasty. So many flavours by and washed down with local wines and other beverages. Can not say enough! Ask for Ildy!

This is a must do! It was so much fun and so informative. The market trip was full of information on not only the food, but Budapest history. The cooking class was excellent. And then we got to eat!!! Katka was perfect- she is in the perfect role of chef, teacher and tour guide. Many thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

The market was so incredible to visit. The history of the building and the old photos was fascinating. Our time cooking and learning new recipes was so worth it to have a special lunch.

What a special experience. Kata was a fantastic host. Extremely knowledgeable, funny and totally down to earth. She made us feel right at home. The tour of the market was great. More importantly this is where locals buy food. The cooking class was really fun. My wife and I were fortunate to be the only students. We left with a wonderful experience and recipes for a life time. Don’t miss this in Budapest.

This was a wonderful immersion experience! The market was so fun and interesting. Our guide and teacher, Kata, could not have been nicer. She was so patient with us, as we are novice chefs!
