This was a really great tour. The food and drink were amazing. Our host Li made it a great night. But be prepared to eat things that might push you out of your comfort zone.

I had a great time on this food tour led by Topher. He was very knowledgeable about everything we tried and the evening was well organized so that we were able to transition easily from one place to the next. Topher did a great job getting everyone to socialize and it was a fun group. I would strongly recommend this tour!

My daughter and I did the night food tour with Hope and had a great experience. Hope was a terrific guide to Shanghai's food scene, and we really enjoyed getting the chance to taste multiple cuisines at several different restaurants. The only problem was that we were completely stuffed by the end! Loved UnTour so much that we've booked another tour for Beijing when we're there.

I love food and love trying new things! This tour did not disappoint at all! Not only did I get to try everything from locusts to rice wine, but our guide gave us the history, ingredients, and context for everything we ate. It was a lot of fun!

Had a great tour with Li and a half dozen other travelers, it was just the right number of people to make it sociable and personable without feeling crowded, and there was just the right amount of walking as well — the three hours flew by and everyone wanted to stay for longer at the final restaurant, and the nice thing is that we were allowed to! Given the array of food and the experience, the price is incredibly reasonable as well. I would have been happy to pay more, but don't tell them that!

Li was a fantastic guide! The restaurants we went to were all delicious! The soup dumplings in particular were a highlight. When I return to Shanghai I’ll be doing this tour again!

My wife and I had such a lovely time, hosted by the warm, friendly, informed and funny Li! Li has bags of personality and charming wit, making the food tour as engaging as possible, not only describing to us all the delicious foods we ate (including deep fried locusts with beer, fantastic soup dumplings, and delicious BBQ lamb, Cantonese siu pork and duck, to name a few!) but teaching us all about Chinese food culture. We have been on many food tours in Asia and this was possibly the best one! We could not recommend this tour enough! Thank you Li.
