5.00This was a great day. I has a terrific coupe of guides and the drive to and from the hike was terrific. The hike itself was really good. the views as we descended into the valley were spectacular. Eventually we passed by some little villages, which were charming. Parts of the hike were challenging because there had been big rains that compromised the trail, but I was never rushed and was given lots of help when I needed it. (Scrambling over rocks, for example.) We finished with a nice lunch. It was the highlight of my trip to Cabo Verde.
