What To Expect
Kruger National Park
Our tour searches for The Big 5 and other Kruger animals in the most populated southern area of the Park. Leaving early in the morning from Maputo we have between 8-9 inside the park

5.00Great experience to see lots of animals in their safe habitat. The pick up from our hotel was right on time, the guide who was also the driver, was excellent. He was a good driver gave us a lot of information about the animals. I think next time we would make sure that we are in one of the open air vehicles. We were in a van, which was very nice with side windows that rolled down and also the comfort of air-conditioning, but the open air, I think would be the way to go. I thought it was an excellent value for the money. Ours did not include Park entrance fee.

4.00Tired. I didn't see a lion. Very big park. There is a lack of better communication between guides. You're tired of getting around the same paths. Tired.

5.00This safari was amazing! Everything was super well coordinated including clear avdance communication. I didnt have super high expectations of a one day economic safari, but it was as good as any multi day or higher end tour. My guide Alfainho was incredible, super friendly and generous in sharing his knowledge, and generally just good vibes all around to spend a day with. He spotted all sorts of wildlife, and I saw as much if not more animals as I have on many other safaris. While sightings can never be guaranteed as its up to nature, Kruger definitely delivers and its totally possible to see a diverse array of incredible wildlife and big 5 no matter where you go in the park if youre lucky. Amongst some of the many many animals I saw, there was lion who just made a wildabeast kill, elephants, buffalo and just missed a leopard and cub and therr were reported sightings of cheetahs on the routes we travelled.

5.00This has been the best day of my Mozambique trip. I stayed in Maputo and got picked up from my accomodation. Don't be afraid of an early pick-up (5 AM). It will all be worth it! Border cross was smoth as. No worries for a EU-citizen. Kruger is amazing, don't let other people tell you otherwise. There might be a high amount of 'common' animals, but still, it is an amazing site for my first real safari. We saw: heaps of: elephans/giraffes/wildebeest/zebras/impalas/monkeys/hippo's. We were lucky to catch a lion with 3 chubs, which is not a common thing. Service fom Maputo tours was good, I had a very experienced ranger who took its responsibility to spot as much animals as possible in one day. Even after 5 hours of driving around (in 38 degrees). I would recommend this again to everyone!
