Our tour & chocolate pairing exceeded our expectations! The distillery is beautifully designed, and everyone that works there is so friendly. Lucy C hosted us, and we enjoyed her company as much as her expertise. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful way to spend a Wednesday afternoon! We were gifted the warm, funny and very likeable Andre as our guide and he was super informative and very knowledgeable. The tasting was brilliant, I’ve always given the Old Tom a swerve thinking it would be too strong….how wrong I was! Beautiful location, fabulous people, awesome gin; we’ll be back for the chocolate pairing! Totally recommend :)

I attended the distillery tour today and it was really brilliant. Our host, Andre, was charismatic, friendly, funny, informative and made the whole experience really positive and fun. A real highlight and a credit to the team. The building is lovely and the stills beautiful and the tasting itself was again, well led by Andre. Would definitely recommend.

Do it! Informative and interesting tour in the heart of the city. Alice was brilliant and warm tour guide. Variety of gins were good and tasty, so we had more in the bar. Views are really nice too!

We had such a brilliant time on the gin tour. Our guide was fab – friendly, approachable, and really funny, which made the whole experience even better. The tasting menu was excellent, and we’ll definitely be back for more! I was especially excited to try the tiramisu gin – my absolute favourite pudding in a glass!

It's no secret that Mr Smartie and I are big fans of Edinburgh Gin. So not a huge surprise that we went on the Classic Tour & Gin Tasting at their super-smart new distillery in the centre of Edinburgh. Our tour guide welcomed us to the tour with a nine and tonic. As we enjoyed this, we watched a great audio-visual presentation that provided a background to gin, tonic, and the history of Edinburgh Gin. From there we moved to an area of the distillery where we explored the ingredients that go into London Gin, flavoured gins, and gin liqueurs. This was followed by an overview of the stills and distillation process. Our tour concluded in a private taking room, where we sampled several gins created by Edinburgh Gin. Being a small group – eleven people in total – this part of the tour let to a lot of chat and laughter between us, as we discussed flavours and preferences etc. After the tour was over, Mr Smartie and I decided to try a little more gin at the distillery's beautiful bar, followed by a visit to the shop, before departing. This was a great tour and a brilliant way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Thanks to Edinburgh Gin and their staff for making it so memorable. We'd highly recommend this tour and a visit to the distillery to residents of, and visitors to, Scotland's capital city.

We did the 65 minute tour and tasting with Colette. The venue is lovely and all on theme. The tour started with a G n T, video and then went into the area where we learnt about the botanicals/stills etc. We went into the tasting room and Colette talked us through 4 samples with mixers and wee adornments. We also got a gin liquor on the tour too. Colette was very knowledgeable and clear and lead the tour well. The tour ends in the shop but we opted to sit in the bar for a few cocktails...left feeling quite boozey but lovely setting, great staff and lovely setting.

The tour was very informative and thoroughly enjoyable! Lots of gin tasted and given the opportunity to try different garnishes that changed the intensity of the gin. The whole experience was super

Excellent tour and excellent gin! Andre was very knowledgeable, entertaining and made the best gin and tonic! The staff in the store was also very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to provide additionally samples of a few gin’s and whiskey that we didn’t try on the tour. We highly recommend the tour and it was the highlight of our trip to Edinburgh.
