If you are a gin lover, this is the tour for you and if you are really lucky you will get James as your guide. Once he found out where we were staying he adjusted to meet us at our hotel. We visited 3 great gin pubs and gained so much knowledge about how gin is made, the different blends, why it came to be in Scotland, and also learned a lot of Scottish history and culture along the way. This is a must do tour!!!!

My friend and I had a little time to kill so we wanted a reasonably short tour. Found this one and were very impressed with our guide, Fiona. She had a great sense of humor and was really knowledgeable. Highly reviewed this tour and this guide.

Had our tour on the 18th June and Mike was our tour guide. Mike had outstanding knowledge of the business and all the processes that the Gin goes through. We were able to view Flora and Caledonia at close hand and were amazed about the amount of Gin these produce on a weekly basis. The actual Gin tasting was great and were again given so much knowledge on each of the samples given. It was also a lovely group of people on our actual tour and this also made the visit a fabulous one. Thanks to Mike we had a fantastic time so thank you

A real highlight of our visit to Edinburgh. We are Aussies and because we prefer gin to whisky we chose this tour as an alternative to the heavily promoted whisky tasting. It proved an excellent idea and great value for money. We were shown the distillery, and then taken through a really informative and engaging tasting by the guide, Mike. This involved four gins, with a ‘neat’ taste, then garnish and then classic or Mediterranean tonic. That was followed by a London Dry with tonic and then a liqueur. Excellent experience. Thoroughly recommend this … and it’s close to Castle and other central areas.
