What To Expect
Eiffel Tower
Meet your local guide next to the Eiffel Tower for a brief and fascinating introduction that will give you the keys to enjoy Paris' most famous tower to the fullest. Your guide will then take you straight to the second level, bypassing the waiting lines on the ground. On the second level, you will enjoy anecdotes about the Eiffel Tower and its unique history. You will also learn more about the City of Light, and see many of its highlights from above, including Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, and Les Invalides. At the end of your guided tour, you will be free to continue exploring the Eiffel Tower on your own and ascend to the summit through a second elevator where even more breathtaking views await. Sip a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense) while you admire Paris glittering below. On your way down, be sure to stop at the first level and walk on new glass floor some 200 dizzying feet above the ground.

2.00The tour guide (Ivan) encouraged guests to go off on their own and not follow his tour. The tour was unorganized with little valuable information. The tour guide spent most of his time dedicated to answering one woman's questions while neglecting the others who ultimately left the tour. Finally, even though you pay extra for access to the summit, if it is windy during your visit, it will be closed and Viator does not refund the difference.

1.00They’re crooked. See my Viator review. (1) they changed the departure time which created a conflict with our other plans, and diminished the experience because we had specifically chosen an evening tour. (2) others in our tour had their departure time changed more than once. (3) I paid for access to the summit, but because of bad weather, the summit was closed. They offered the refund, and told me to go back to Viator for it. (4) because the pick up point is listed as a specific address, as opposed to, “in front of“ a specific address, they let us to believe that there was a real office where we might relax upon arriving early, use the restroom, and recharge our phones. There is no office. (5) when I arrived at the address, I tried calling the WhatsApp number, but they kept hanging up on me. Then they has texted me, “this is a message is only number. Don’t call.“ (6) despite creating the illusion of a reserve time, the guide was purchasing the tickets at the tower; so the suggested wait times reflect that they have no reservation for you. They are essentially using a guide to point out a couple of facts, and to buy tickets with seemingly no reservation. (7) the guide walked way too fast, causing our group to become elongated and spread out. Then, for the limited information that the guide furnished regarding the history of the tower and so forth, many of us were not there when the guide began speaking. On the tower, the guide kept moving too fast giving us no time for pictures My view—shady, fly by night who disguises identity by shifting the pick up address

1.00We waited at our assigned spot for 30 minutes and no guided ever came. Called the number and company thought they might be late but didn’t know. Finally just went on our own, purchased tickets again and went on our own!

1.00Tour guide for Eiffel Tower tour didn’t show up. It was a freezing day. I called visitor and they said ‘wait for him’’. So, like dopes we waited longer and finally gave up and bought new tickets for the Tower. And of course there are no refunds with Viator. Not for this tour or the mistake we make on the same tour when we booked it in error four days earlier and then changed booking to today. I’ve used them in the past and have had problems but that’s it. I’ve learned my lesson.

1.00Never trust this company again! Horrible!! No one was at the pick up site. No one would answer my messages about my issue!! Completely missed out on going to the top of the Eiffel Tower!! This is my first time in Paris and I’m not happy with this company.

5.00When we booked our trip to Paris, the first place everyone wants to visit is the Eiffel Tower. We tried to book tickets through the official website but couldn’t find any available, which was a bit disappointing. My wife then found tickets through Viator, and we’re really glad we booked with them. It was a little more expensive than the official website, but definitely worth it. The guide was amazing and shared great stories about the tower, explaining its history, how it was built, and much more. It was also during the Olympic games and lots of road closure.
